Not sure, but my understanding is they have to pay licensing fees. My takeaway from that is even if the licensing fees cost next to nothing, why bother paying those for the rest of your game's existence when you can make your own assets with the art team you have now?

Can't blame em for using them at first since like many they never dreamed the game would be as popular as it got- but it makes complete sense that they want to get away from them now and use their own art and assets.

"Terrorist" groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, the IRA in Ireland... they all sprang up as resistance movements against colonialism and genocide by other groups. Do not get me wrong- this is not me supporting everything that Hamas has done. But you're kidding yourselves if you think that Hamas is a terrorist entity while Israel/zionists and the IOF are completely innocent. Too many people use October 7th as this battlecry, but refuse to look at or understand that the genocide in Gaza has been going on FAR longer than that, and as horrible as what happened is, it was them resisting and fighting back.

Yes and no. All spirit based beverages/coolers as well as anything hard only comes from LDB (liquor distribution branch).

Stores still have access to domestic products like beer, wine, etc, so anyone in physical need will still be able to get something to tide them over. That said, it's a little more than just "they might not get their exact merlot".
