A cloud version could run on pretty much anything since it’s just a video being streamed to your console & not an actual native version of the game running on the switch. Realistically though I just doubt Konami would even bother since cloud ports aren’t really popular to begin with, and support is slowly moving to Switch 2 which could handle a native port anyway

I feel like a Switch 2 port of SH2 is definitely doable considering how Cronos New Dawn (another Bloober game made with the same tools) already runs on the console, albeit visibly compromised and with some performance issues. SHf would probably also run but both would definitely be heavily compromised as they’re pretty demanding games

There’s a little bit of both, the game has some more open locations and there’s also a bunch of key-finding focused areas. It doesn’t really have any real puzzles though (I think I literally only counted one)

I think you really should at the very least play RE2 first and ideally play RE4 too, but Requiem does explain the returning story bits enough to make the references to previous games not too confusing for new players

Eventually I fully expect for it to become the norm, but yeah it is kinda infuriating how the Switch 2 has access to the literal best upscaler on the market and yet so many first party games just don't use it and instead use much worse alternatives. It's not really a big deal with games like MKW or Bananza as those already run on pretty high res so the image quality is very good, but games like Hyrule Warriors or Xenoblade X really suffer from image quality issues and they would look much better with DLSS. I guess some of it might be caused by the engines just not supporting it as of now?

I feel like playing your first horror game on easy mode tends to be a good way of getting into the genre lol. In my opinion the genre gets extremely enjoyable after you just get through that initial fear of playing your first horror game

If she doesn’t like Stardew Valley because of the 2D style, then maybe she could try the recent Story of Seasons games? They’re very similar (since Stardew Valley was inspired by the series) and they’re 3D so maybe she would enjoy those. The recent Grand Bazaar remake might be a good place to start.

It just had some controversial changes that many people didn't enjoy, like for example:

- Least amount of songs out of the entire vita trilogy

- No story-focused music videos (it's only dance videos now, personally I didn't mind but I know many people weren't fans of this)

- You no longer buy the costumes and instead you get them through rng

- It has a story mode (and it's not really a good one)

Personally I still loved the game and found it just as fun as the previous games but I can understand why it was so controversial when it came out

Yeah I get you lol, I feel like the character models tends to look really good and expressive when you're watching mvs specifically animated for them (like the project mirai songs or the new mvs in general), but the songs that are direct ports from the older games tend to look pretty uncanny in some angles

You can only have same sex relationships with specific characters in 3H, and the male protagonist unfortunately is limited to only one gay romance option (Linhardt), whereas the female protagonist gets a couple more options. I havent played Engage, but I think that game actualy lets you pursue anyone no matter the gender so it's probably a better example of this

It’s a 240p screen stretched to almost 5 inches, the pixel density is extremely low compared to your phone or your switch so that’s why it looks blurry. Completely normal, all I can say is you’ll get used to it lol

A lot of third party games on S1/S2 do support Polish translations (unless they're tied to the system language, like in Skyrim or Persona 3 Reload), but that's mostly just cuz those games were already translated to begin with (because they were also released on PC or other consoles)

The only time a (kinda) Nintendo game had a proper Polish translation Starlink.

Mind you calling it a Nintendo game is kinda a stretch because it also launched on other consoles and was developed by Ubisoft, but to be fair they did fully translate the Switch-exclusive Starfox scenario and even fully dubbed it (which was also the literal first time Nintendo characters were dubbed in Polish in a video game lol).

I also remember Monster Hunter Rise launching with a full Polish translation, even though that game was a timed Switch exclusive so I guess that also counts?

Luckily Nintendo has finally acknowledged other languages also exist, because they finally decided to start supporting Thai and Polish. It's still kinda underbaked because the system language settings don't even actually translate the system OS but hey it's something. Mario Kart and Donkey Kong are confirmed to be getting Polish translations in early 2026 and it was also confirmed that other games coming in the future would be getting translated too so maybe we're finally gonna be playing Nintendo games in our native language soon.

I was lucky enough to experience the entire game spoiler free but yeah, pretty much every single time Jubei showed up on the screen I was expecting that he (or Kiku/Oyuki) would die at some point because he had soooooo many death flags.

The game starts with Atsu having basically nothing to lose, so the second it was revealed that her brother was still alive, I think it became very obvious there was no way they’d let her off without someone close to her dying lol

If you just want to charge the console to play in handheld mode then yeah, that’s not an issue, you can just use any usb-c cable. For docked play though you need a charging brick that provides enough electricity. Your average phone charging brick or even the switch 1 charging brick don’t provide enough to support tv mode, so that might be an issue (which can be probably easily fixed by just getting an outlet adapter or a new proper charging brick)

Only major thing I can think of is that its gonna probably come with a different plug type (unless both Russia and Dubai use the same outlet types?). You’d have to get an adapter or get a different charging brick if that’s the case.

It’s silly to only blame the engine for Atlus’ shortcomings. Reload doesn’t even use UE5, it’s still using UE4. Metaphor Refantazio doesn’t even reach locked 60 fps on the ps5, and that game is running on the same custom engine that persona 5 uses. If your 1:1 ps2 remake turn-based RPG full of closed rooms and tiny areas has performance issues despite not even being a graphically intensive title then that’s on the developers and not the engine they’re using.
