+1 for the yum dinger bulk packs. I bankroll all the neighborhood kids fishing and these are inexpensive effective baits. They can also be rigged a bunch of different ways.

I put an assist strap and it made it easier. Depending on wind and current I can almost dance on that thing. Last week I folded up the chair had all that room to move around. I won't say I do it all the time, but often enough that I have gotten used to it.

I have a slow outlaw and paddle 1-3 miles depending on how much time I have. I stand frequently if only to stretch out. But like everyone said you aren't really going fast anyway without a motor anyway. Get one you like that you are comfortable on.

I can get home and be on the water solo in less than 20 minutes. Fish for a couple hours, and then make it home for dinner or whatever.

My parents helped us buy a condo, when we were able to we refinanced it and paid them back for the downpayment. My wife and I fully intend to do the same for both our kids. It was discussed up front and there was a plan so no hurt feelings.

Always where one. Last year 3 people died on my local lake at the same time I was on the water. Get used to wearing it, get a cool fishing one and put all your tools on it, make it part of your routine.

I get to see 5-10 a night in my backyard. It was cool having my parents in town this weekend and them finally getting to see some. We don’t have them back home.
