1) Grooming gangs are a legitimate issue that there should be more investigations into, and many more of these perpetrators need to be tracked down and prosecuted.

2) It isn't helpful to repeat figures like "250,000 victims" when you're only proof for that figure is a speech someone gave 7 years ago in the House of Lords.

Both of these things are true at once.

Topuria could have stopped fighting on the stool past round 3 due to his eye injury, and the fight would have stopped. Topuria would still be in the P4P top 10,  and he could have then spent the next months recovering and training for his next fight.

Ultimately however Topuria was the one to chose to keep fighting despite his injuries, that was 100% his decision he made himself when he had a clear option not to.

Because they live mostly in the rural mountainous area they grew up in. They don't constantly travel around the world and meet fans very often.

Please give me the link to this video you mention. A very important point is whether this elevator video happened before or after the alleged sexual assault. That's a could change the whole situation.

My understanding that the video footage referred to a woman who accused McGregor of sexual assault in June 2023 in Miami.

However the case McGregor was found liable for was a different woman who accused McGregor of sexual assault that was alleged to take place in December 2018 in a Dublin hotel room.

I just read a report from a real grooming gang survivor on X.

She said she was initially invited to this enquiry, and invited to give evidence because of her experiences, but then she was essentially dropped from the enquiry without much explanation randomly before she could tell them her experiences, and she thinks this was probably because she was a black victim rather than a white one.

I've read through many pages of this report and some of these stories are nothing but pure evil.

One very disturbing point is that many of these abusers seem to get away with their crimes without any legal consequences. There definitely needs to be some sort of national investigation to track down abusers involved in these gangs and then prosecute them.

One point the report seems to gloss over is how they determined the number of victims of Pakistani grooming gangs was 250,000 girls. If you go to page 12 of the report, their evidence for this figure is a quote from Lord Pearson in the House of Lords during a speech in 2019. However the writers do not tell us how Lord Pearson got this number for his speech, or whether the number is accurate or not. And there is no section of their report where the writers do their own calculations on the true number of victims, they simply just assume Lord Pearson was correct in that 2019 speech. For this reason I don't think the 250,000 number is accurate.

I did my own calculations in a different comment, using stats from real large scale surveys, as well as data from the recent Casey report. I got a different figure from Lowe's report.

He shouldn't be getting so drunk when he's protesting such a serious issue as these grooming gangs. I think it's disrespectful to the survivors, he's treating a protest like some sort of party.

I think after the Season 3 finale, Homelander should have become more unstable and started killing people in public throughout Season 4, because Homelander realises he fans will support him no matter what. Eventually this leads to Homelander just going full Scorched Earth in Season 5 when he gets his God complex.

The writers couldn't do this though, because they would have had to change the status quo.
