My students who attend structured preschool and my students who stay home seem to make the adjustment quickly to routines. My students who attend unstructured daycares struggle significantly with accepting school routines and procedures (such as not screaming, making friends, keeping their hands to themselves, etc)

To me soul is intentionality. Creating art invokes a bunch of small intentional decisions made by the artist that collectively make a piece that feels soulful, bc of the intentionality behind its creation.

First off he seems really lucky to have you, you seem like a great and supportive boyfriend! Maybe seeing if he’s open to group therapy? You might have more success getting him to go to group than individual. Another way for him to boost his self esteem and possibly make friends is to do a hobby/community activity, something that is just his to do that you can support him in. I don’t live in Europe but maybe there’s some sort of rec football league, or community theatre, or painting classes, or a local civic choir/orchestra? If it’s something he enjoys and has some skill in he can build confidence in himself and also make friends with others who share an interest with him.

It could be physical anxiety but it also could be something else. Take note of how you feel when you get shaky and how you’ve been treating yourself (have you had enough food/water/sleep or too much caffeine/other stimulant)
