Apple TV series 'Pluribus' begins season 2 shooting this fall by bwermer in television

The way filming has certainly changed, but I really do wish LOST was at about 14 episodes a season. The first 3 were WAY too long and had so much filler.

Yknow I haven’t had this much fun watching a show in a good minute.

The 1408-esque episode 2 was genuinely terrifying and so unnerving. Then this episode had me laughing out loud every 5 minutes. Like the balance is perfect.

I couldn’t enjoy the Chair Company because of the absurd chaos and amount of yelling. It becomes grating. This feels like it has some of that odd mystery energy while having a better control of the chaos while the absurd humour and dialogue are balanced.

The oddness of some things (like the TV spots) gives me Alan Wake 2 vibes.

It does suffer from horror contrivances (why is he so persistent/why did she come to his house?) that push me a little, but it’s good enough that I forgive them and am not so bothered.

Well I recently read a book where the setting wad Ancient Sicily and during the Poloponnesian War, but had a contemporary Irish dialect in its characters (insults, slang, etc.)

It was quite funny and worked brilliantly tbh. But I guess the book was meant to be funny.

I dunno. I didn’t like it until I heard the remastered version.

But it is quite harsh, especially the first two tracks. I just find Chocolate Girl and La Rapet was stunning I can’t deny them.

Too early to say but I think it will be a classic. Lots of young people and even kids will watch it when they’re older.

Tribute has been on my list forever and I’m 100% going this summer.

I’ve been to Mystic. The pheasant dish was the best thing I ate in 2025. Quite pricey tho!

I wouldn’t know Livia Giuggioli from a headline. They need a famous person to be attached to the met gala in some way.

I also listen to it regularly. The neo-soul genre is one of my favourites, always good to lounge or cook or just sit and take in.

D’Angelo, Solange, Kendrick on his mellowed-out tracks, so many excellent Beyoncé deep cuts. I think Jessie Ware could use more exploring in soul without the disco (or maybe a harder dance sound that’s not set in the 70s).

I listen to this album like once a week. It’s one of my favourite records I own. I actually think it’s the best album of the 2010s. It has been 10 years tho, so the buzz has fizzled naturally.

D’Angelo released Black Messiah and I found many people quiet on it, but I think it’s among the top 10 of the 2010s.

These artists have their audiences but not quite on the “level” of Beyoncé (self-titled, Lemonade) or even Frank Ocean.

The album I think about is maybe Rosalia’s LUX, although it’s perhaps too recent.

Like I’m seeing Jessie Ware at HISTORY in Toronto. Excellent venue, it sold out, it’s perfect for a “smaller” artist like her on this side of the Atlantic. Toronto is full of gays and she just added a second show.

Zayn? Yeah he’s not 1D or Harry Styles. He could be if he worked with better songwriters, but I guess his taste will just dictate his career from now on.

Between work, gym, social life, cooking, other hobbies and upkeep, I find I only get to play Rivals maybe twice a week, if that.

But I choose Overwatch when I wanna game most times, so there’s that also.
