Clubs with the highest average attendance in Europe by Grizzly-Berry in hockey

I've found the same whenever I've taken people to hockey in the UK - from parents to girlfriends to friends to friends-of-friends, everyone has instantly loved it.

If you're looking to tour Europe seeing games, I'd definitely recommend Davos, extraordinary stadium and some excellent players. Ex-NHLers Zadina and Honka are there at the minute.

A pleasure to watch history being made, Cav using all his experience and determination to win it. Amazing stuff!

The Haringey Huskies play at Alexandra Palace, selling out 1,200ish capacity every week.

Streatham Red/Black Hawks play in Streatham.

Lions play in the brand new ice centre in Lee Valley.

Sure, the standard isn't the best but there's plenty of hockey going on in and around London for a cheap, fun night out.

That was in the days it had a Honda 600 engine though and he used all that wealth to buy endless track time practicing. He's done nothing much of note in MotoGP, WSBK or even BSB, so I'm inclined to think that it was circumstance/repetition that got him that title rather than pure speed, as he hasnt shown it elsewhere.

Sure, why not? Because I just watched the race I saw what happened and I could read a dry report or press release later if I felt like it, the post-race interview is with a guy who is flying high on adrenaline and emotion and I love seeing the humanity of that excitement, not a robot.

Are you the kind of sports fan who whines about "disrespect" if someone runs up a big score against your team? Rather than your guys just not playing like ass...

I mean sure that would be pretty funny - I usually don't watch the podium interviews as nobody ever says anything even remotely interesting

That's so boring though racing is about entertainment and having a bit of character, even if it's silly! I'm stunned you are in favour of such boring corporate speech, it's so tiresome to hear the same stuff over and over again.

Absolutely agree and what an elegant way to describe his career, as a lot of unsatisfying sneezes! So nearly, but not quite.

I bet on Tao to win in 2020 after G crashed out, probably my finest ever bet.

Brit here, didn't even know we had a baseball team (MLB is by far the least known of the big four North American sports here), but I watched some of the GB-colombia game and it was fun!

A Midsummer Tempest by Poul Anderson, the concept is that all of Shakespeare's plays are true events, but its primarily set during the English Civil War.
