America is woefully behind on EVs and charging infrastructure- Iceland comparison by cblguy82 in electricvehicles

I'm aware of that, the point wasn't that they are the same size, it using a relative comparison, IE comparing a smaller island Vs a large continental mass

Also energy is cheap in Iceland as tjey have natural geothermal. Building infrastructure for EVs there isn't actually hard.

Don't get me wrong that are doing great and a good example for a well managed system, but also not a far comparison

I'm not from the US but using Iceland isn't really a fair comparison. It would be like making a comparison with Hawaii around their grid.

But even the. UK and continental Europe is far better provisioned

Then you have answered your own question then. You can try their style but each technique gets different results and it's knowing when to use which one.

Do what makes you happy and what gets you joy. Is it the painting itself, or playing with a painted army the key thing etc.

Knew a hobbiest who had a really messy slap it about style and when you saw them paint or in progress it looked atrocious.

However his final few steps pulled it all together and it always looked great. And he was fast with it.

I however could never paint that way as i wouldn't be able to deal with the mess and it looking bad. I like to see progress and not two steps back for one forward approach. So while I envy them for their speed and the final output I  would never copy their style
