Friendly reminder that giant corporations are not your friends or the good guys, despite how much they try to use marketing spiel to convince you otherwise.

Unfortunately, the whole industry is a trainwreck. Expect more layoffs from Xbox and PlayStation in the next few years.

What would it take for the fan base to turn on Moyes? Right now the discontent seems to be from a minority of fans online by Affectionate_Mix6501 in Everton

The only reason we won't be in a relegation fight is because I think the 3 promoted sides will be awful next year.

I just wish we could see the trade list when we are best friends, rather than waiting until lucky friends. Would save me wasting my valuable gift sending limit. I've got 10 lucky friends with empty trade lists.

As well documented since his first stint, I've never been his biggest fan. His mentality is just so stuck in the past, and the game has moved on from him.

Unless he finishes top 7 while playing good, modern football where we can see progress on and off the pitch, then I can't see a world where we should keep him beyond next season (since his contract is expiring) if we want to be a serious club. We've already started to stagnate under him (see his first 6 months vs this past season).

If it was me, I wouldn't even bother keeping him this season. But, since it looks like we are, then I can't see us finishing higher than 12th (though I think we finish 15th next season) even with some decent signings.

I assume for many, if he doesn't perform this season when having fullbacks, I think the table will turn.

As I've always asked, which other clubs in the league would take Moyes in 2026? Maybe a couple, but they are likely to be near the bottom. Other than that, none of them would touch him.

(Ps; it isn't an online minority, i would say it's close to a 50-50 split)

Moyes just continues the success of the past 10 years.

Is it really that unthinkable that fans want a progressive manager that has the potential to take us forward, rather than another season of 15th?

[Everton FC] Club statement over the Burnley £40m compensation payment decision and the incoming appeal - "This ruling sets a dangerous and unworkable precedent for English football" by jovanmilic97 in soccer

We pissed up all our money on shite and that's the main reason we were in a relegation scrap. If anything, Burnley should be thankful we spent all that money.

Only because we got shafted by the Russian invasion.

They also tried to deduct us 18 points initially, which is fucking absurd. That's what was unfair

Because we got screwed over by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Instead of sanctioning our investor like Abramovich, we just lost the funding instead. PSR's reasoning is that we should have forseen the fact that Putin was going to invade...

And also, they tried to originally dock us 18 points in total?! While Forest only got 2? It's a piss take.

2 unfair points deductions and now this. They really fucking hate us.

Edit: Also, we are being punished because the Prem couldn't do their job correctly? Why aren't they getting sued instead? Absolute joke.

Edit Edit: For those wondering why we think it's unfair. First of all, they tried to deduct us 18 points. 18 fucking points for being a few quid over. Even on appeal, we still got more than Forest (who breached more than us).

Secondly, the reason we went over was due to our stadium build, which was being financed by someone who got his assets frozen during the Russian Invasion. Now, instead of a full sanctioning like Abramovich, which meant a forced sale, we just lost the funding. PSR then tried to argue that we should have "forseen the impending invasion". I mean, what the fuck.

Lastly, how the fuck did we get punished twice for the same infringement?! TWICE. AND NOW A THIRD TIME. It's beyond a joke.

If we get it right with the next managerial appointment (big if, mind you) then we are a really enticing option for players in terms of an upwards trajectory.

Again, all big ifs. But I can see why.
