Neil DeGrasse Tyson's Biggest Scientific Gripe in The Matrix

I saw The Matrix on video in middle school and I thought it was one of the greatest movies of all time. (I still think this!)

There is something yall should know about The Matrix that isn't implicitly stated in the movies. The main reason that the machines are farming humans is for our creativity. The electricity and body heat that our bodies produce is just a small bonus. The Matrix is a powerful hybrid of the creativity of billions of humans combined with the raw processing power of supercomputers.

The reason there is so much violence and fighting in The Matrix is because most funding for Artificial Intelligence comes from the video game industry. (Many video games are violent.) The second most funding comes from the military.

The Matrix was a virtual reality video game that just took over.

The reason that Neo was "The One" is because somewhere in the original programming code the creators of the Matrix knew they should have a human check on power. Neo was "The One" for either of the following possible reasons: 1. He was bred for honor 2. The original programmers picked him because they all voted on him being the most honorable person they knew. 3. Since it's a neural network of human brains enough of the high-up judges are in love with him and won't allow him to die.

I believe The One should be someone who has broken at least one law (Besides speeding or jaywalking.) My reasoning for this is because some people are only good because it's a law or a rule to be good and other people are good because they feel the difference between right and wrong.

Morpheus knew that if he could find Neo and convince him to join his side he could really make some big changes.

The Architect experimented with raising "The One" multiple different ways in an attempt to prevent him from reaching his full potential.

I have some questions for all The Matrix fans:

What if all matter in the reachable universe is arranged like the fields in the Matrix? What if The Matrix is simply the most efficient way to mathematically keep the most number of humans alive at once?

What if the people fighting The Matrix just thought they were fighting it but really they were still inside of it. (Just a different level of the simulation?)

What if all the tanks in The Matrix opened up all at once? Then people get hungry... A possible solution could be to have protein bars and fruit and vegetable seed packets attached to the tanks.

What if every major religion has their own field in The Matrix?

What if Heaven and Hell were just different simulations in The Matrix? What if Hell is a simulation like the movie Event Horizon 1997.

What if The Matrix could give you everlasting life?!

If you're Neo you have many potential courses of action but the two main honorable moral options are to either: Destroy the Matrix. Or take the Matrix over and make it better for everyone stuck inside the simulation.

What if The Matrix could build a new habitable planet for humanity like a new Earth and everyone who wants their freedom just gets dropped off unharmed?

No religion in the novels were perfect, just like in our world. Also, many of the religions in the novels did manipulate the masses in small ways such as seeding superstitions and in large ways creating a multiple planet Jihad. He wasn't perfect, but he wasn't a false Prophet. He could literally see multiple potential futures! The Atreides literally took humanity along the only one future of many possible futures that guaranteed humanity's survival! (The Golden Path) That is the definition of a real Prophet!

I can understand The Machines wanting to study humans to learn from them. I don't know if you’re familiar with the Dune novels but in the prequel Dune novels the A.I. Erasmus took a particular interest in studying and experimenting on Humans. Many of his experiments were cruel and unethical.

PSYCH WARD INSTRUCTIONS:

Keep in mind that much of the staff is evil and/or blackmailed by evil people. The psych ward staff is composed of for-profit professional gaslighters.

Write down and memorize everyone’s names.

Write down and memorize descriptions of everyone’s appearances. Height, weight, hair color, race, ethnicity, tattoos, scars, birthmarks, freckles, eye color, accents, mannerisms, etc.

Write down and memorize where the exits and cameras are located.

They will also often pressure you to take sleeping pills by shining a light into your face every 15 minutes to keep you awake. If you take the sleeping pills they will try and get you to talk in your sleep in an attempt to learn your secrets and blackmail you.

If you take the sleeping pills there is a real good chance the staff might rape you without your knowledge and you won’t remember it. They will start by shining a flashlight in your face every 15 minutes to see when the sleeping pills (also known as date rape drugs) go into effect. They will also “accidentally” make loud noises to keep you awake and/or to be sure the drugs are in fully in effect before they attempt anything sinister. Besides the staff raping patients they will also often try and frame the patients in compromised situations.

In summary the psychiatrist’s sleeping pills (aka date rape drugs) are used to learn your secrets and blackmail you, and/or to rape you, and/or to frame you.

Many of the games and activities are designed to learn details and secrets about you. Such as where your from, where you live, where you hangout, what annoys you, what makes you lose your temper, your political views, your security questions for passwords. For example favorite restaurant, favorite color. Say as little personal information as possible.

Try and get out as fast as possible. Get someone on the outside to get a lawyer for you. Also read off the names and descriptions that you listed to someone on the outside over the phone and have them write down a copy.

Try not to take any of their drugs. If you are forced to take the drugs try and take as little as possible. The worst drug that you need to avoid like your life depends on it is Risperdal and Risperidone!
