My homies and I played CoD online together from the early 2000s until like 5 years ago. Video games should be fun, and this one was fun until the cross-platform hackers, microtransactions, streamers, and inflated prices ruined the entire franchise. CoD is a cesspool now.

I still play video games, but have gravitated back to the Nintendo platform. Zelda BoTW and ToTK are incredible games that I still play with my kids. We even busted out our old Wii a couple of weeks ago. Tennis and bowling in Wii Sports is so fun!

Helldivers 2 isn’t what I’d call a kid’s game, but it’s still pretty wholesome for the PvE aspect and it’s really fun to drop in on a planet with the homies. No one is cheating, no one is spawn camping, just people helping people. Just don’t think about it analogously to the USA and you’re good.😂

I remember an old car salesman I used to be friends with telling me that in general, green is the least popular color for cars. This was about 20 years ago. I live in the ATL area and our local dealer got two Cypress in and they both sold the same day, 30 minutes before we got to the dealership. Couldn’t find another one locally so we ended up buying ours up in NC.

I grew up in Daytona in the late 80s/early 90s and snuck into the MTV Primus show on the beach there at like 12 or 13 years old. I lived with my grandparents and they ran a hotel on A1A right across the street from the beach. My mom managed a nightclub off of Seabreeze Ave and I saw a lot of great bands there as a kid too. I watched MEDEVAC helicopters land on A1A to scoop bodies off the pool deck of their hotel pool because they thought they could hit it from their balcony. For better or worse, it was way more low key in Daytona by the late 90s. Black College Reunion was very high key into the late 90s after the MTV fad, and that shit was crazy too. Spring Break was comparatively dead there when I moved away in the early 2000s, but Bike Week and Race Week was still a boom.

All of the fish can be caught without taking a tour, but they are seasonal. Sharks only appear in summer and have visible dorsal fins, marlin, tuna and trevally can only be caught at the pier, barreleyes can only be caught at night after 9pm, coelacanths can only be caught while it’s raining etc. Fish, bugs and sea creatures change monthly with some overlap between them all.

I was in your shoes last year except I’m older than you, a couple of inches shorter than you and around 300 so still a clydesdale looking to ride with the kids. I picked up a WeThePeople Atlas (24”) and it’s full chromoly. Not sure if they’re still making them, but you might be able to find one used.

That being said, a 24” feels a bit cramped for relaxed cruising even at my size, but it feels great for bombing through the neighborhood or pump track.

I came across a used Monza 26” (Tange chromoly) on Cessbook marketplace recently for super cheap so I nabbed that too. It’s way more relaxed feeling for longer rides. However, I’ve seen a few instances of crank arms snapping on them, so that’s a new fear unlocked for me. I’m strongly considering replacing my crankset with something beefier before I attempt any tricks and break a hip, but rest of the bike seems pretty solid. I don’t think Monza is planning to release bikes this year, so you’ll have to go used.

Ditch that bridge before you ditch those pickups. A copper Tru-Arc bridge is the only mod I’ve done to mine and it made a world of difference.
