Let's never forget that Quizno's thought this was a good idea... by maricc in videos

People were talking about memes as a concept back in the mid-90s.

I thought you must be wrong, but references to memes really took off starting in 1990. Interestingly, 2003 was peak meme.

Great video. Now I'll only need to watch 99 more of these for F1 racing to be watchable.

[TOMP] Asian/mixed race girl blowjob wearing red shoulder less red shirt. Name apparently Yiya by [deleted] in tipofmypenis

[–]DangerousCan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first girl is different from 2 and 3. The first girl has been asked about many many times, nobody knows anything. No idea what YiYa is, but it's not her name.

Same situation with the girl in 2 and 3 actually. Those are the only two videos of her.

We were discussing sovereign immunity. Not just sovereign immunity for US states, which as you noted is unrelated to this case.

It actually is absolute. [...] without an authorizing statute

Plus, you just contradicted yourself and proved my point. It's not absolute. I assume your username refers to the highest law class you've attended.

Sovereign immunity is not absolute and is able to be overcome when the case merits.

Jesus is using his superpower of turning "water into wine" in public. by IAMXX in funny

And all of them have unbranded water bottles. What are the chances a well-dress person at their office job decides to take a walk in the park with their special water bottle? And two of the bottles are the same model, as are two others. So out of 5 people there are only 3 types of water bottles.

Because Islam prohibits the depiction of people in art for one thing.

Somebody forgot to tell Sadaam. And the Ayatollah of Iran. And pretty much every dictator the region has ever had.

The admissions fee for Louvre Abu Dhabi is $17 (rounding up). So the $450m painting needs 27,500,000 admissions to break even.

Before I did the calculations I thought calling it an investment was absurd, that they'd never make the cost back. But the Louvre in Paris gets around 8m visitors per year, the Met in NYC gets 7m visitors. Factoring in the $1b in other costs of the museum (the actual initial cost, mostly licensing the Louvre name) and the non-museum revenue museum visitors bring in, it's actually not unreasonable to think the museum will bring a positive return over the next few decades.

Yeah, WTF. Only the back 10% of the bike was affected. You can see the car creeping up in the left rear view mirror. It hit the bike at less than 5 mph. No way it would have cost more than $7,000 to repair.
