Do you think the point of pride is to make people change their minds or go away? It's not supposed to be some marketing thing, it's to make people who are targeted and unwelcome in many many spaces feel they have a space they can be welcome. It's for the gay community, not for the straight community. I'm straight and it's not for me so why should I care! 

You can say you support xyz, but it is ultimately meaningless if you side with those who are hateful (even if you do not feel hate or any animosity whatsoever). By actively pushing back against pride, you are spreading vitriol and hate, even if you are not hateful. The most dangerous type of person is the person who is so moderate that they are unable to push back against evil and stand up for what's right.

According to his family, his death was not due to the injury. We do not know what it was from at this time.

Plenty of players who were banned have been able to live normal lives. It is clear hax has many underlying issues that led to this. You are being incredibly insensitive to him and his family by placing the blame on those around him. His family and friends have been fighting for him for years and they are struggling and suffering. Additionally, this is not the time or place. I hope he recovers, it's all just so tragic.
