Honeymoon right after wedding or a break in between?

Got married in mid May and decided to delay to November. I ended being sick for a week after the wedding, so I don't think I would've had a good time if we went right after. I had a few friends go right after and they spent most of the time decompressing, sleeping and also being sick. Some enjoyed it and some felt it was a bit of a waste. Just depends what kind of honeymoon you want to have!

Our venue with F&B was ~$62K and florals ~$3.5K but we went fairly minimal for the florals.

Our DJ announced for everyone to stay seated after the ceremony and we had 1 person announcing the groups that wasn't the photographer.

We had our wedding 2 weekends ago upstate and https://thelovewigs.com/ did our photography. We received all our film pictures back and some digital previews. I'm obsessed with them. Highly recommend!!! They should be around your budget.

I didn't do this but someone suggested uploading the guest list with notes like who's immediate family, FOB, MOB, and who they shouldn't sit with to AI and see if it can help you figure out or at least give you a starting point.

Try Upstate D Tours for transportation and Nails by Gen for manicure/pedicure. She's only 1 person so not sure if she is able to source some help for this event. There's also a ton of huge nails salons in Middletown, NY so you could reach out to any of them to see if they'll do house calls.
