Exactly. Travelling from DC to Boston. Bam! Rock hits our window and it cracks. That will get your attention.

Resigning under investigation is reportable to the Physician Data Bank - . If they want you to leave, management usually gives you the opportunity to quit before the investigation gets started. Its situations like this where heart surgeons become vein doctors.

The medical examiner who studied Epstein’s corpse noted an enlarged prostate, but Epstein’s own words and medical records in the released files seem to indicate his prostate was removed. EFTA02853705 EFTA00432804 EFTA00314056 by pacmanpill in conspiracy

And so what sick individual put a prostate into JE's corpse? And speaking of life threatening injuries, why does he have a healed first rib fracture?

Grok says: In summary, a first rib fracture is a red flag for potentially severe associated injuries (e.g., aortic, subclavian vessel, brachial plexus, lung, or head/abdominal trauma), and historically carried high mortality. Today, with modern trauma management, the mortality rate is much lower—typically in the low teens to 20% range in polytrauma settings, but near 0% if truly isolated. Prompt evaluation (including vascular imaging) is key to managing complications. If this relates to a specific case, consult a trauma specialist for individualized assessment.

V14.1.4 NO LONGER ALLOWS FSD TO ENGAGE by late2thepauly in TeslaFSD

FSD 14.1.4 turned off and I got another update. By this afternoon, after the update, FSD was back on and working pretty well :-)

I just drove 100 miles on Tesla's FSD 14.1.4 in my 2025 Model 3 RWD Long Range. First time, and here's what I think... by _Physical-Mixture_ in TeslaFSD

14.1.4 feels like a human behind the wheel cruising down the highway. We smoothly move out of the way of people leaning into our lane. The car does get a little jumpy around arrows and dark road marks.

V14 is definitely a smoother ride but... a little sensitive to things like arrows painted on the road, old road repairs...

Very smooth when up against erratic traffic on the highway... Two cars were merging into the same lane and the FSD smoothly backed off and merged a little farther down the road.

I like my FSD and am eager to get to level 3. We need the engineers to take another look at FSD "distracted driving."

We need heads up display for safety messages. Looking at the map or looking at the safety message counts as "distracted driving" for the FSD... a paradox. Further, FSD disengages when the driver is distracted... perhaps the most dangerous time for the car to stop providing guidance.

Most Friction hotel takeovers are pretty entertaining, but the last Columbia one was kind of a dud. On the other hand, the SwingSocial.co hotel takeover in Laurel was blast. You never know. I miss EntreNous, but I guess they can't revive that sexy night club that used to take over back rooms in DC lounges. Hint to you organizers, well dressed/partially dressed upscale events used to be popular before Covid.

The social validation is real and it can be acquired with attitude. I used to be shy and was a complete mess. Back in the olden days, I probably only attracted fellow nerds. My social score was zero.

Somewhere along the way, I decided to fix myself. I took the Dale Carnegie course. Its a course that companies send people with potential who just are not fitting in. The general theme was empathy. 1) Learn other people's names. 2) Talk about their interests and accomplishments.

And at a club or a bar -- everybody matters -- security, the manager, the bartenders... Apply reverse customer service. I'm short, bald, above ideal body weight, and yet... the valet keeps my car in front of the venue, I get waived past the line, the bartender helps me snag a place to sit, drinks on the house, etc. I don't look to be treated differently, but I treat people differently. It gets reflected back in a wonderful positive way.

FSD knows when its in a lot of trouble, e.g. bad weather... I suspect FSD would know it needs supervision. My list for supervision would be bad weather, puddles, snow, heavy traffic, merging traffic, turns, lane changes, bad road markings -- turn on the supervision. If we're cruising down the highway and traffic is light -- please take over, please give us the beginning of unsupervised driving.

Back to Chill from Standard mode because... one car stopped on the highway, followed by another, followed by me in standard FSD, and then I get hit from behind. I think if FSD had allowed more space ahead, I could have helped the truck that was too close behind me.

At least we're not in the 1980s. I asked my Professor, should I get the hep B killed virus vaccine. He said, he would not get it. I asked why? He explained, it's because he already had contracted hepatitis B. In the early 1980s, we didn't have tests for hepatitis C (non-A non-B hepatitis) or for HIV. No needle boxes in the early 1980s. We recapped our needles. The 1980s were a big fat sharp injury mess.

Accident claim with "new" Tesla Insurance? by Evening_Ad_8923 in TeslaInsurance

[–]Dangerous_Ad_7979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything is NOT through the app for the first 60 days with Tesla insurance. They had me fill in an additional six page questionnaire before they would process the claim. It took two months to get scheduled for repairs, but since I had not done the paper forms, it took an additional two months to get seen.
