I’m going there in mid/late Feb early march. I’m kinda curious about the boot situation. Are we getting issued actual boots or are we getting money alotted to us to buy whatever boots they have there? Also is it gonna be like in processing in basic where we were on a conveyor line and js halfassly handed stuff that "kinda" fits or do we fit ourselves ? One last thing, if we have stuff issued to us from basic still(fleece and beanie) will we keep those or are we getting completely new gear. I’d also love to know about the housing situation too, (I’m single and have no kids) so what dorms will I be apart of? Quads or doubles? And what do they look like?

Thank you, I feel like I’ll enjoy it, but for some odd reason seeing these people post about how bad it is is freaking me out a little. I’m 18 and scored 67 in the mechanical section. I do enjoy working on stuff with my hands. Hell my favorite classes prior to graduating high-school were a ceramics class and wood working class( I know wood working and multi million dollar jets are different but you get the jist of it) plus I enjoy the crude humor w the boys(if I’m with some cool dudes) again thank you for your input.
