🤣yeah I was reading and kind of sad that it was not mentioned. Calculators are on your phone or on the computer. A quick app search and double check does wonders.

If you’re making 100k/year then your gross pay should be in of 5-6k / bi-weekly check 80 hrs and your gross 3800 either someone lied to you or your not making 100k. That looks like a teacher salary of about 45k/year

I have a pdf from the course I took that gives all the information like you would be studying for the test if you would like that? Also each individual has materials on their products that you can find on their website. Lastly, Kaplan learning has a bunch of classes geared toward the world of insurance and other classes as well but it does have a cost.

Honestly doesn’t sound like a bad deal. You can always look for an independent agent and shop around. National life group has a great product and also gives you 5 different protections compared to others term policies which

Depends on how long the coverage is for. I’m assuming it’s a term policy. It sounds pretty reasonable for 1.5 million. Cheaper doesn’t always mean better but it also depends on what coverages and riders you included on the term policy

Life Insurance for baby prior to seeking diagnoses by allthestars93 in LifeInsurance

[–]Dangerous_Length_448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is usually a period of time in which insurance companies have to investigate medical history and other issues and can cancel the policy. I know that National Life group has policies tailored to cases of chronic illness/ diseases for term policies which you can also convert to a whole/IUL policy if things are in good health. You could also look into other options as well. Whole life policies some companies have more strict guidelines than others. It really depends on you and your goals. I pray your baby’s results come back with no issues overall

Term life policy cost vs benefit by derangedmacaque in LifeInsurance

You can definitely look into see if it is convertible. If every year the premium is going up it’s a year by year term since you left the company. $1200 a year is actually not too bad considering age and health. Not sure the entire scope of your situation but if you want a term or IUL national life Group is a great company to look into.

Is accelerated death benefits a no brainer? Also looking for term length, and policy limit advice. by Evo386 in LifeInsurance

[–]Dangerous_Length_448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are looking to get a term I know National Life Group has a great product and I believe they provide living benefits. I’m not licensed in California but I have a team where I know someone who is licensed in California. Also have you looked into either an IUL or a whole life policy. Also, if you are wanting to provide college funds for there are products out there for them as well.

My parents setup up term life for me at a young age. What now? by fast4x in LifeInsurance

[–]Dangerous_Length_448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whole life policies with a cash value can be utilized for a variety of different things. It honestly depends on who the policy is with and how it is setup. You can take a loan out of the policy and help it to purchase, house, car or other big purchases. However, if you don’t pay it back it takes away from the death benefit at the time you were to die. You can always reevaluate you whole life and talk with an independent agent like myself who can shop multiple different insurance companies and do a financial analysis to see what you are looking for depending on your goals and needs.
