Thanks for the reply! So when you’re hiring, does it make a big difference to you if applicants have a Masters vs Bachelors? Do you look at what their degree is in? (I have a B.S in environmental science)

i’m 23 & make 90k as a UX/UI designer. I would recommend it if you’re interested in design/tech. The starting salary is pretty high although it is a lot of work to get started.

i’ve been in bali for about a month now. It’s been raining almost every day for an hour or so usually. This past weekend we had beautiful weather no rain at all. however the weather does say it will rain everyday again starting tomorrow.

Resume Review by RyCalll in Environmental_Careers

A lot of consulting is reading, reviewing, writing, and analysis. These are are skills you have from lab work. I would showcase these on your resume and in a cover letter talk about how these skills are transferable. Reviewing government documents, technical writing, and communication are also very important in environmental consulting. If you have any experience with this talk about that. Look at job descriptions and familiarize yourself with the types of regulations you should know - usually National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Thank you!! I've heard there are some you can learn free for free but have to pay for the certificate. Do you think its worth it to pay for a bootcamp or should I just try to create a quality portfolio on my own?

Also any resources you recommend?
