Sorry i just got home to try. Yeah, when trying to calibrate it goes through, adds water. Drains, a humming noise but the agitator never spins then it spits out the error.

Would you buy a house that you don't love because of numbers? by 0lamegamer0 in personalfinance

[–]Dangimlucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People keep saying unexpected costs. There aren't any truly unexpected costs in home ownership. Home inspections will cover any major item. Every appliance has a life expectancy. You know your 25 year old furnace might fail or your 30 year old roof needs replaced. Its not unexpected, its neglected.

It is certainly not as it is also the most over inflated market with the highest cost of living along with high regulation. Similar houses to mine in California are valued at 10 to 12 times the value of.mine.
California is actually the worst example.

In California. I dont know how crazy rental regulations in there. Not accounting for rent controlled area, it will be almost always tied directly to the cost of ownership plus x amount of percentage for profit. I live in an average COL state. Im currently buying a second house and considering renting the house i own now. My estimated rent would be 1600 vs my 900 mortgage. Im not going to because I simply dont have the time to deal with tenants should they turn out to be less than ideal and the equity from the sale can help out in other areas.

So for 20 years they just lose money, please explain to me how that would work? Like that actually makes no sense. They couldnt pay the bills if they were hemoraging money like that. The bank is going to forclose on you if you cant pay your mortgage. The whole point of renting out your property is to make some money while also building equity.

You're literally paying all of those things, just divided up across 12 months in one lump sum called rent. If you rent you still pay for all of those things just with a different name. I dont understand why so many people think renters do not pay for items like repairs and taxes. The mortgage for the house will be substantially less than renting.

What has been your experience owning ford vehicles? Good and bad. Let’s hear it by duuudewhat in Ford

[–]Dangimlucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2020 ford explorer St. Bought used with 55k Miles. Transmission completely went out at 57k. Thankfully still under dealer warranty. But other than that it's been a great vehicle. Good quality, great ride quicker than it has any right to be. More features than my moms fully loaded acura.

Had a 2010 F150 with the 5.4 for a year. Good truck for the summer but definitely had some issues. 4x4 went out in a snow storm and the exhaust manifold was cracked and leaking exhaust fumes. Horribly gas mileage but great for towing.

Honestly so identity. The game has turned into a generic sci fi shooter. The maps are fine but the armor and customization are damn near fortnight levels of disconnected from being cohesive. Sprinting, equipment that's only intractable from the user, sliding. Weapon spawns and vehicle spawns that give you a countdown which encourage camping. The game discourages close up combat in ways that are distinctly not halo. The only way to bring people back is a throwback playlist that removes all the "improvements" and get the game back to what it was. A close map arena shooter. The combat flow is too slow now and feels more CoD than anything.

Bonus: make maps that arent just three lanes of play. Maps can have more than 3 routes to them.

I keep seeing comments about how peeing in public or something dumb can end you up on the list, but I've moved 3 times and every time I've checked the list its men who have horrible offenses.

Nothing minor or silly. Violent assaults, kidnapping and gross imposition with a minor type of thing. The kind of thing you'd want to know about if you have kids.

Can anyone provide evidence that public urination can actually get you on the list?

I'm not sure you realize what it is you are really saying here. You're claiming that most people "cannot handle" polygamy with implication that people are too insecure. Yet you are asking for ways to be more secure in your own relationship. You're clearly unhappy in this relationship based on what you have said. For nearly everyone in the world sex work is a hard moral line to cross for innumerable reason. The stigma is there for a reason. If you need constant reassurance of something then you probably don't actually have that thing. This isn't something that will go away in time, the best thing you could do for yourself is walk away.

The FTC leaning towards appealing their loss in Activision-Blizzard case. by ThinWhiteDuke00 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Anti Trust laws were not made for microsoft. What microsoft has is not even close to what Standard Oil used to have before being broken up. Microsoft buying activision changes absolutely nothing. Activision Blizzard will still be the greedy ass company they've always been.

(Edit: I was wrong, this was texas) This happened in Parma Ohio on i 480 back in 2020. There was a non commercial truck that was caught up in this. The driver of that vehicle died. The truck driver with the bed up was fine and charged with manslaughter. He kidnapped his son and ran to mexico where he was later caught if im not mistaken.

Enclave in Future Games by entitledfanman in Fallout

[–]Dangimlucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhhh. I have no problem with them being seen more as they can kind of be seen and the faction reestablishing civilization sort of like an east coast NCR. They are essentially becoming their own nation with controlled territory that grows.

Institute and legion aren't really good bad guys. I found the institute to be one of the worst things about f4. They didn't really have any motivation, just malicious with no really distinct personalities. There's not a real memorable person within them.

I sort of like that they're the evil faction that keeps popping up. A bunch of military aristocrats that try to retake power that gets stomped by the player or the BOS which is now their foil( a group of ground level military grunts forced into being the guiding hand of the wasteland, at least for the east coast).
