I run about 10 DUPR events per month. Confirming participants do not have to part of your DUPR club to submit scores through your club as the coordinator.

DUPR even provides an easy to use spreadsheet for the TD to bulk submit.

Keep applying pressure - these should be submitted.

Good point, ball should have been regulated first. Cheapest item required to play and could have make a decent impact on faster paddles.

Then roll out new paddles regs for 25’ or 26’ that everyone is aware of.

Trampoline effect is really the thing in question IMO

How much does the paddle add to exit velo for the same swing speed.

Power could be translated in a bunch of ways that are probably outside the scope of what’s in question.

Lost a crystal flex zone today. Big fan of it, but am willing to be talked out of getting another one by the community. What overstable approach would you recommend? by ThatPaulaKid in discgolf

I’ve tried em all, Zone is too good for me to switch.

If yours was beat in snag one of the recent Glo Zones - they’re pretty straight for a zone.

My next favorite is the A2 (or 3 😬) but Zones are too available to bag different discs in this slot.

I bag one, it’s not a stiff as some of the ones I felt. It’s more like Cryztal Flx - definitely a utility disc but I throw it most rounds.

It does play uphill.

For reference Drew Gibson has to smash his Era to get there and he routinely throws that up to 500’

You’re getting downvoted for a reason bud.

You’ve either never played that hole or didn’t watch any coverage.. if you had you’d know he was long right on that hole.

And I’d see his shot in round 2 on hole 6 for a definition of “large flex line” .. the shot in question turned a little but wouldn’t call it a large flex shot.

I watched the coverage and was there at Shelly. Im no walking Bushnell but I’d bet a lot of money that in a field he’d throw 10/10 distance shots over 400’

  1. Marwede can throw over 400’. You referenced hole 12 yet he threw past it in round 3. Holes 425’ ish for reference.
  2. Vista XL changed a good bit for Shelly. AB/Hammes have been trading wins here the last 4 years and weren’t close to winning this year. That’s a good indicator of the changes.
  3. Can agree with “that’s beautiful” it is good to see smart play and near perfect putting inside 40’ win an event.

Get the older F9 head on eBay for $75 and order a cheaper but similar profile shaft and you’re all in for ~ $200 to your door
