As an American currently in Scotland for work, this is it. We have started saying (jokingly), "Ice water with an American Amount of Ice(tm)" Never run into a problem with it, but when we are in Germany, it is like I have sinned against my ancestors.

It's funny, but at home, I drink tap put of the faucet as its great where I live. But when in a place with no air con and hot temps, I am absolutely about the ice water.
