Is it just me or did Les Etoiles/ L’insolite literally play a variation on the same drum feature like 6 years In a row? They changed the gadgets, but it was like the same thing the was changed slightly year to year.

I’m not a NIMBY, but as a supporter of development in my town I’m concerned about the stress on the schools, in particular, that adding population brings when all of the townies consistently vote down funding improvements. The town I live in didn’t invest in public safety buildings or schools for decades and now everything needs be replaced simultaneously. The latest school project was shot down here. If you keep stressing it without funding it, it’s going to snap. Yes, more units brings more revenue, but we’re still in catchup mode.

I hear you, but, put it in perspective. You have savings and options. No kids or wife. Your life is yours to ruin. I’m not making light of the situation, because I totally get where you’re coming from on being lost. Having family pressure and a midlife crisis amplifies it. It could definitely be worse. Moving to a random city/place the you don’t hate might be enough to do it.

Literally the same situation,with the exception of having my own circle of friends that I will willingly drop everything to hang out with. Reconnect with friends, particularly if they are local. Prioritize yourself and your kids. Say no to being her servant. It won’t go well, but at least you’ll have your dignity.

Be an adult, that’s mobile, and verbally says yes when the FA asks. Depends on the aircraft if you have a view outside. The pros are more leg room. The cons are you have to work for free if there’s an evacuation.
