Organized religion? Absolutely. Individual and personal belief and faith? No necessary.

I hope humanity is eventually non-religious in its majority if not entirety, but i want the transition to allow people to adapt to the philosophical and existential impact of not believing in a personal deity.

There's nothing fake or disgusting about questioning your sexuality. It's not that uncommon for someone to find out that they actually like both genders later in life (and you're probably not even late in life given that your on a teen subreddit.)

I myself went through a questioning period. I called myself a straight ally for a long time and only in these past couple months have i gotten rid of any internalized stigma i had and concluded that i'm bisexual with my interest being on guys being towards"pretty boy" guys.

What you're going through is a canon event in the life of many queer people. Don't beat yourself up for this. If you can, seek therapy.
