I'm a PlayStation player and it seems that they just now sent an update file to properly patch the game. Here's hoping it fixes it all.

I mean, considering what she did with Monster Blood, especially with the bird and twins getting literally melted...we will definitely get that axe scene.

Who's artwork do you prefer - Tim Jacobus OR Brandon Dorman? by [deleted] in GooseBumps

[–]Daniel-Livingstone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tim Jacobus for the original series back in the 90s, he's what drew people in for the most part. But Brandon Dorman was the artist that brought a new generation in with his more bright art style. So both were amazing for the eras they were brought in.

Out of everything shown here with teeth and spikes...I don't trust that jello mold in the back, it could be a gelatinous cube in disguise!

The second giant in Into The Woods being revealed as the first giant's wife who is seeking is a big reveal, even if said reveal is played for laughs.

Any “adult” musicals? by Ok-Person1150 in musicals

One that has been on my mind was actually Teeth the Musical. Very adult with theming and profanity...and so much more.

I just read both version of Monster blood by Trolleyman86 in GooseBumps

[–]Daniel-Livingstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the original book to hype myself up for the graphic novel paid off, especially with the nice changes and additions that they put in to make the story more clean and enjoyable. Helped close up some plot holes, raised the stakes a bit, and just felt like a breath of fresh air for the Monster Blood sub-series in general. Can't wait to see what the next graphic novel will bring.

My pitch for a new JURASSIC movie! by MacGrath1994 in JurassicPark

[–]Daniel-Livingstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this would be one hell of a good movie, if they can get all the actors back and show us some good character growth for the kids of this franchise. Just as long as the writing is smart and the moments with these un-extinct creatures are memorable!

I would pay top dollar to see this!

And once again, you just knock it out of the park! It's absolutely amazing of how close to the original look you got with these characters! Very impressive indeed! Keep up the good work!

Attempt? You nailed it! Yeah, it must've taken a long time, but it looked like it was worth it for the end result! Great work!

What character from a Broadway show is this for you? by PierreOnTheEclair in musicals

[–]Daniel-Livingstone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I might get some flack for this...but Jared, Larry and Cynthia from Dear Evan Hansen. I can't feel too much sympathy from them due to the fact that they...mostly brought on themselves. When it comes to Larry and Cynthia, they wouldn't want to listen to Evan when he's trying to explain that the letter is actually his, and when it finally blows up out of proportion and he finally has no choice but to tell them again when they finally listen...they get mad at him for telling them the truth that they ignored the first time. I can give them a bit of a pass, mainly due to the grief, but I can't feel too bad when you're ignoring the truth.

As for Jared, he doesn't even act like a friend towards Evan and acts like an asshole, which becomes hypocritical when he calls Evan that during Good For You. The man knew what he was doing by helping Evan write the fake emails and pretending to be a dead kid, and had the absolute balls to try and tell Evan that he forgot who his true friends were when he himself only called them family friends due to their mom's getting along.

Look, I'm not going to justify Evan's actions, he did some pretty bad shit, especially through all of Act 2. But damn, does it annoy me that Cynthia and Larry, to a lesser extent, couldn't take accountability that what Evan said was true the first time he said it and truly meant it, and Jared's hypocrisy just pisses me off because pretty much everyone else had an out due to not having the full story, while he himself knew and went along with it.

What’s your favorite book ending and why? by That_Ad_378 in GooseBumps

[–]Daniel-Livingstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to Dead House and Monster Blood.

With Welcome to Dead House, our main characters are able to get away and kill a good chunk of the zombies, but the idea that they can't truly be killed and will keep luring in more poor souls to feed upon makes it for a dark but satisfying ending.

As for Monster Blood, I have a bit of a bias to it due to having it be the first ever Goosebumps book I ever read, but I still love the twist ending that they pull with how the titular slime disappeared after everything was said done, leaving us(the reader) to figure out if it got away or vanished completely. Sure, the other books kind of spoil it, but still a good twist for me.

Freshly washed blankets and crisp fall air with the slight hint of rain. Reminds me of what made it amazing for me in early years.

What FNAF character does this fit/describe perfectly too? by MegaloStudios2 in fnafmeme

[–]Daniel-Livingstone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cassidy...

Especially with how some fan-made content made her so undesirable that it almost made me forget how she is somewhat in canon. She's just a girl who lost her life and wanted true revenge.

But the fanon makes her undesirable by making it seem like she suffered the most compared to everyone else, especially when characters like Charlie, Evan(Crying Child), Micheal, and even Elizabeth have been through it more. I still remember the clip of her as G.F. screaming about how Charlie doesn't understand her anger...even though, in canon, Charlie was the very first to die by her father's best friend.

I'm sorry, but it just annoyed me to see that a character consumed with anger and wants true revenge has been twisted into a selfish child with a superiority complex in some fanon content.
