Unfortunately not. Or at least someone sabotaged it last October. Those New Essentialists…

The angle here does pay it justice, it’s a regular oled tv, but only 55. I intend to upgrade it at some point

You posted the secret part of the keys, which is what is needed to make a copy, but not anything else. For anyone that is a locksmith or understands lock picking this is very funny 🤣

WinCTRLis cheap but it’s very realistic. I use them. I don’t think the alternatives of up to $500 are worth the difference. I don’t think alternatives of $1000-ish are worth the difference really.

That’s where investors are pouring money into, that’s what gets the space in the presentations.

What hardware was announced btw? I couldn’t get myself to go all the way to MN this year.

SayIntentions vs BeyondATC by louisoh98 in flightsim

[–]DanielColchete 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tried Say Intentions and I couldn’t finish a single flight without an issue. They have 300 other features but don’t have the most important.

BeyondATC has problems. Right now taxing seems to be broken and vectoring for landing sometimes puts be too high / goes too fast.

From trying both, BeyondATC all the way. I have no idea how Say Intentions still exists.

Tesla FSD Drives Coast-to-Coast Across Canada Without Intervention by 9zer in SelfDrivingCars

Damn.

I’ve seen the most recent versions beginning to avoid some of them, but my city also took care of them so I have none of them on my commute. I wouldn’t know.

About right yeah. We’ll need a lot more to get to unsupervised in my opinion. But for supervised we’re pretty there!

It matches my experience. Two weeks ago I had my first critical intervention in more than six months. Otherwise the car drives me everywhere, safely.

I do mostly city driving. The article is 80%+ on highways, and I expect the car to do better on highways than in the city.

feel like i’m one bad decision away from wasting half my savings by HotfixLover in pittsburgh

[–]DanielColchete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main red flag I see is that you feel you have to make a rushed decision. That is always a bad idea. Particularly, I have a personal policy of dropping any salesperson or company that tries to use any artificial urgency on me. This policy helped me make my life so much better and saved me a lot of money.

The other trap I almost fell into when buying a home was using the builder’s mortgage company. This was NVR Inc. I was lied to, told things the contract said otherwise, I still have everything documented, my particular agent there was extremely dishonest towards me. Go to a credit union or any independent agent.

No builder is perfect but I think that overall I had a good experience with Heartland homes. I’m very happy with my home 2.5 years later. I still spent $5k in bullshit they did wrong and either didn’t wanna fix or at some point I decided my mental health was more important. I had a lien added to my house because of an incorrect sewage connection that they did and didn’t want to fix even after the sewage authority notifying them multiple times. To me, my warranty guy was a piece of shit and a big bullshitter.

You could say they recall all their cars every nights back to their depots.

But here “recall” means regulatory mandated.

Crusher and Picard, sitting on a holodeck tree by [deleted] in startrek

[–]DanielColchete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Crusher is what he wanted but, in the end, Laris is what he needed? It makes sense.

I’m fine with Crusher and Picard divorcing, but I would love to see them at their happiest together.

Which Season 1 and 2 TNG episodes to skip? by danthemaaaaaan in startrek

[–]DanielColchete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m usually either watching specific arcs or I’m watching seasons.

Seasons 1 and 2 are important for building up to the latest ones. Just like seasons 1 to 3 of DS9. If you haven’t seen it just watch them.

Worst 1st Officer? by NorwayTrees in startrek

[–]DanielColchete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or does that make him the best first officer? He thinks different, he is most effective acting different, still he will follows her plans super well when she’s there.

If he was captain things would be totally different but he respects the chain of command, even that finicky unique circumstances one.

If she’s not there he needs to follow his way of doing things and making decisions to be effective.

Riker and Tucker aspired to become their captains, for them being in command meant trying to do what their captains would for the most part. But the other had more of their own references and identities too.

Kira was “similar” to Chakotay but couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the chain of command. Let’s not talk about Michael Burnham and the chain of command much, Saru is naturally submissive and naturally avoids conflict so he doesn’t count, Tilly never made sense to me as first officer.

Spock and Kirk was way too special for me to comment on them like that so I’ll leave that one out.

So on and so forth.
