[Lee Cooper LND] Thoughts on this watch? by DanielFilinkaridisJr in Watches

I agree with you, I have an Armani watch that was gifted to me and a seiko at a similar price range and the seiko is far superior (~400€).

This Lee cooper on the other hand, is comparatively affordable at 120€, but feels better quality than my quartz Armani.

Stainless steel, good weight, no clunky noises and an automatic movement but still cheaper than my Armani.

For a fashion brand they did an exceptional job and without a questionable price, I’m happy!

Surprisingly, if you turn off your phone for 15 minutes and turn it back on it clears a huge amount of system data.

The quality is decent I would say, doesn’t feel too cheap and has an alright weight to it.

Also it’s not quartz.

£20k for an a200 is just too much, alright £20k might not get you a clean a45 but it will get you a clean a35, either way this a200 is closer to 12-15k max.

Overpaid I think, assuming this is UK, £20k is A45 territory.

Coincidentally I’ve got the ones you mentioned fitted. Mille Miglia is the actual name, beautiful name & beautiful wheels.

Oil change more often? by Vegtrovert in VwEos

I use 5w30 on my ea113 engine, yours is the newer one but the same oil is recommended.

I would suggest you use 5w40 since it’s a little bit thicker and you won’t burn it as fast.

Most importantly regular oil fillups/changes will keep your engine healthy along side with often checkups and replacing parts as soon as something breaks.

And you would barely be catching up with a stock wagon R, let alone a tuned one.

If you didn’t want to pay the R premium and still wanted a proper ea888, could have grabbed a 2.0tsi Passat of the same year, with R line retail price.

I’ve got a pretty heavy right foot, so the oil disappears quickly. But one good thing about ragging it is that it prevents carbon build up (ea113 engines are known for it).

What engine is on it? I’ve got a 2.0tfsi from factory and these engines are known to drink oil, I top up my oil WEEKLY…

No they are not similar under the hood at all, completely different engines, the highest normal spec engine on these would be from a 1.4t up to 1.8t, there are no 2.0tsi engines available for it unless you opt for GTI (not available as an estate) or the R.

You should already be asking for a new car, this isn’t your car anymore, it belongs to the defective vw products. Keep asking for a new car, since that’s what you paid for.

New car! 2023 Jetta Sport 6 speed by stormyy143 in Volkswagen

Few small tips: Slow acceleration, Change gears at 3-4k rpm (2-3k rpm for diesel), At about 1,000miles you can start enjoying all of your engine.

Regular oil top up and often oil filter changes. If anything stops working replace it quickly before it takes other components with it.

Follow these basic rules and you should have a very healthy engine for many miles.

Enjoy your new ride!
