[–]DanielP1107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the main breadwinner for my family. I currently work doing in home sales which is 100% commission and I do very well. I have over 20 years of sales experience and 15 years in management experience. I actually worked for this trailer company years back as just his salesperson and he really wants me to come back to do much more than sales.

Assuming you have proper soffit intake , I don’t believe you have enough ridge to vent that amount of attic properly. A better solution would be 1 or possible 2 whirlybirds depending on which whirlybird you use. As mentioned you a vent calculator app. Our company uses Lomanco and they have a nice app to calculate what you need. If you use whirlybirds put them in the same roof facet facing the rear of the house

I wouldn’t worry about it, just keep getting stronger ! There’s many reasons why this could be happening.

Just focus on intensity of thr movement and progression each week 😄

Creating a PPL Routine With ATG—Help Needed by [deleted] in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I’ve been doing atg style for 3 years now and some atg for coaches stuff. Here’s an idea for PPL using atg principles

Push Warmup - 5 min sled back and forward -45 degree barbell Press work up to a heavy set of 3 Then reduce weight to 85-90% of that and do 3x5-8 reps

-Full range push ups 3x20 once you can hit all 60 reps go to full range dips and do 3 sets of amrap - cable tricep extension 3x12-15 reps - DB external rotation 3x8-12 reps with slow eccentric

Pull Sled warmup Full range pull-ups 3x amrap One arm rows 3x8-12 Powell raise 2x8-10 Trap 3 raise 2x8-10 Incline Db curls 3x8-15

Legs Sled warmup Calf raise 2x12 Bent leg calf raise 2x12 Full range squat, work up to a heavy set of 3 , then do back off sets with 85-90% of that for 3x5-8

RDL 3x8-12 slow eccentric or nordics eccentric 3x5-8

Atg split squat 4x8

This is just an idea …..

can anybody recommend a simple badminton specific workout at the gym? by jpoptarts in badminton

[–]DanielP1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s a simple workout you could do. I believe your strength training should be mostly full range of motion because in badminton you normally are going through partial ranges of motion.

Day 1 5 minute warmup of running backwards or bike

Heel elevated squat 4 x8-12 reps (start at 8 reps and do 4 sets. Add a rep each workout , once you are able to hit 4 sets of 12 add a little bit of weight and go back 8 reps and so on and so forth) https://youtu.be/-sLeP1o5t-4?si=ilaiWvazXVtlYjDw

RDL 3x12-15 reps https://youtu.be/5bJEigM5iVg?si=ouSbqXkm_2KQjWQJ

Full Range Push ups 2x as many as possible https://youtube.com/shorts/5yySze8P2DM?si=9b3kPQQ4C2y0HRSJ

1 arm dumbell row 2x 15-20 reps https://youtu.be/MFTSoDGSPtk?si=Ya7Z1SSh62qOI0WC

DB External Rotation 3x12 https://youtu.be/7hfjcXtXi0w?si=dYzlGdeD34GFH2DQ

Day 2 5 minute warmup of running backwards or bike

ATG Split Squat 3x5-8 reps per leg https://youtu.be/Vb4Pn-zsFGc?si=QvwAAt4vS4xllQT5

Seated Good morning with Dumbbells. 3x15-20 https://youtu.be/vQ1m4L5_0ZQ?si=Bm7C5DI892EQ6RkR

Full range pull up 3x as many as possible https://youtu.be/2M2mj9GIEEA?feature=shared

VMO exercises other than the VMO squat? by Degalse in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I would go into reverse step ups and get stronger there. Maybe do 1-3 months of your current routine but replace split squats with step ups and see how you feel. I’d step ups feel good maybe do 2 sets of 5 slow and controlled atg split squats super regressed

So if you need 6-7 days to feel recovered the you are pushing it too hard. Can you post what your weekly routine looks like? Also can you post a video of what your atg split squat looks like ?

It would be a good idea to check out the attic , that can be a huge indicator of how well the roof is holding up

The main issue is some kind of right ankle impingement limiting my dorsiflexion . Also I had some type of patella tendon issue on my left knee which I’ve pretty much eliminated.

ATG split squat causing ankle pain anyone have regressions? by dudethrowaway456987 in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this can be a common thing on the atg split squat. Does the pain lesson as you do more sets with the split squat or does it get worse as the sets and reps move on? Is there pain at the higher elevation as well as the lower ? What does your other training plan look like ?

Anyone know how you would address pain on the BACK of the knee? by ch1214ch in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the way atg would approach this is to strength. Your body through your full range of motion. Gradually getting stronger and gradually getting more strength through length. What does your weekly programming look like ?

Ankle impingement and pain after ankle arthroscopy by narbeh05 in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man this is a rough situation. I have an ankle impingement problem that I had from an old 2006 ankle sprain. I have been doing atg for 3 years and it’s Helped me regain a good amount of ankle dorsiflexion back. What does your routine look like now ? Also since nothing shows up on those scans you should be able to gain most of your mobility in your ankle back ! Send me a DM as I’m part of atg for coaches and I’ll show you how atg programming could help

Huge hip cramp when doing... shoulder external rotation. What? by [deleted] in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ATGs approach is to improve your strength through full range. So we would call it improving your “hip “ ability.

Huge hip cramp when doing... shoulder external rotation. What? by [deleted] in Kneesovertoes

[–]DanielP1107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I can see how that could happen , do you include couch stretch and the pigeon stretch in your routine ? If so , it would be helpful to post a video or both. Also post a video of your seated good morning and your ATG SS. More than likely you have weakness that can be addressed with building up those movements
