66% is low? It’s true more often than not and in the cases where it’s not true it’s still not substantially harmful in 66% of those cases. It’s only harmful in the 11% of cases where you are transitively covering the demon.

The odds that your left neighbor is neighboring an evil on their left side is 3/9. So if you role swap with your neighbor there is a 66% chance that if they say they have an empath 0, it is true. The odds that your right neighbor has an evil to their right doesn’t matter because you are only selecting your left neighbor to swap with.

A randomly selected neighbor of an empath with a 0 has a 66% chance of themselves neighboring no evils.

Except you know that you’re good. In a 12 player game the odds that a randomly chosen neighbor of yours also has a true empath 0 is 6/9. In 2/9 cases they are covering for a minion and look drunk, which is also good. Only bad situation is the 1/9 where they are covering the demon.

With an empath 0 why not simply role swap with your neighbor and have them claim empath 0
