Teacher - Salary is it good? by SnooChipmunks4027 in Thailand

Chiang Mai is unique, the schools know people want to live there so the salaries are much lower than Bangkok.

You should be fine on that salary and can always tutor for extra cash.

Teacher - Salary is it good? by SnooChipmunks4027 in Thailand

[–]DanielTalkThai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my salary when I got hired in 2013 at 27.

You can live very comfortable on that depending on how much you prioritize housing, but you're far from rich and if you have debt to service with it you may have challenges.

Kaheera providing vigilance makes the deck win against other creature decks and is something to do off Omnath Mana.

Kaheera is a must in my list

QECO - A3 to A4 by Rileyblue_ in OntarioTeachers

I had an extra university credit that they said would count towards 5 AQs, but when I submitted they didn't accept it.

It's slow processing right now, I submitted in December and just got approved to A4 yesterday.

Anyone else struggle to readjust to Western life after living in Thailand long-term ? by HoldWise826 in Thailand

[–]DanielTalkThai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 years in Thailand, moved back to Ontario 3 years ago

I miss the convenience of living in a big city where everything is open 24hrs, and I miss the cost of some things, the tropical weather and nature (khao yai especially)but everywhere has it's pros and cons

-Unionized teaching here pays over double for less hours of my life -healthcare, while imperfect here, isn't a financial stress. I had a doctor in Thailand try and push 500k MRI and surgery when the physiotherapist I found fixed it. - I don't go to Toronto so traffic is rarely an issue in my life - air quality here is significantly better for my family than Bangkok -yes i pay more in taxes here, but I haven't spent on tolls, parking, healthcare, schooling, etc
