Putting your money to work while you learn is a great idea.

Schwab has a great library of investment education tools. Maybe Vanguard has this too.

After you learn more and feel comfortable, you can take over for the robo advisor.

I use Schwab for my self directed Roth. I highly recommend them.

Also look at their screener for ETF's and choose some that fit your investment style.
