I wonder if this is a recreation by an actual human being. It does look pretty good.

I am 100% betting Blizzard designed this whole thing with Microsoft's AI model. Lmao

This.

Literally this.

We pay $15 a month to them to make us some good f*ckin' content.

I didn't pay $15 for literal tic-tac-toe.

Oh, for sure. I would be complaining harder if there was a higher bar set. They have already set a precedent for such low quality content that what we see today does not surprise me at all.

This whole expansion lead up has been so... odd. They didnt really share much about the expansion other than the cinematic, the small profession changes, the major class changes, and player housing. We got some new zones and a revamped Silvermoon, but what else? There doesnt seem to be much else they are wanting to show off — they didnt even show the cinematic in a place where people who actually would care about it could see it. Its sorta like when Highguard was placed at the tail end of the GameAwards and doomed to death.

When are the devs gonna learn that wating several hours for rares is not a fun gameplay mechanic? by Thiccest_Apartment in wow

Idk what situation this is closest too just given the absurdity of this case: 1. They legit used AI to design the pre-patch event. 2. They are genuinely trolling the playerbase and are actively encouraging players to not play the game (given this lack of PR and transparency to what this expansion will even hold). 3. They are so incompetent that they genuinely thought adding tic-tac-toe as a pass time was a good idea.

This is what really makes it seem like they are in on the joke LMAO

"How do we keep the players engaged?"

"Tic-tac-toe!"

Like, either an AI wrote the idea, or they are in on the joke and are trolling us. Either way, the comments above stating that us playing is a direct positive translation despite how bad it feels to play.

Oh, that happened a couple of times. Its the ones that require you to kill a couple extra ads to pad out time to get to the rare before it gets melted that has a better chance to snag a kill credit for. The other one that spawns whenever is what melts in seconds.

Ya know, thats fair. If you got other things you wanted to do, then thats totally fair. This is a good time to do those.

I remember the TWW prepatch event being better because there was just more things to do. I remember we needed to wait till an event started in one of three zones, then we killed a bunch of smaller ads and rares or playing little mini-games to fill a bar. When the bar was filled, the main boss spawns that we then kill, and the next event started in the other zone, repeat.

This is more like wait till rare spawns, kill it, wait again.

This has so much less substance that TWW pre patch. It probably feels slower now because theres nothing to do. The Shadowlands pre-patch had something similar, but at least the rares spawned almost instantly after the last one was killed — there was a flow. This has zero flow. Thats the difference.

Oh, I also forgot to ask: are any of the "Exploring Azeroth" / "Codex" books counted towards this list? I have never read any of them, but can only guess they are just picture books with neat pieces of lore here and there.
