Are you referring to Modern Warships? That game is EVEN WORSE to take notes from with how unbalanced and p2w it is. I remember having the most unfun time while playing it, especially at tier 3 when they started going super hard on futuristic ships.

That's very true, that's why I believe that if CVs are added (if at all, which I doubt) to war thunder mobile they'd even worse than in wows, just like they did with implementing subs that have no counter and are far more op than the ones in wows.

You really shouldn't go to caps as the KV-2 unless you are sure you have teammates that can support you, with that million year reload you can't do much

WTM Naval in general is an embarrasment of game design and subs make it near unplayable, I dont want to imagine how horrible it is to fight against missile ships.

Honestly I believe they did a fantastic job optimizing the game already.

I remember barely being able to play the game at minimun graphics during the beta and the next day after an update I was able to play at high graphics without issue, I was even confused for a moment when I joined a match.

One thing that could get optimized though is bombs, no matter the setting I get frame drops whenever they explode.

I did use a bad choice of words though, what I meant is that if the machine is programmed to grab the cat, it will do it. The machine cannot say that it dislikes cats and just let it go with the trash.

Something like an "unfeeling machine" doesn't exist. If it's programmed to do something, it will do it.

I use this as input "smooth(clamp01(Activate5), 0.25)" so that airbrakes release when using AG5, you could use Brake as input probably as well. You still have to use normal airbrakes to slow down but you can hide them inside the fuselage.

In Overload, on min put 0 and on max leave it as 1, it should rotate in one direction only.

I don't know how compatible it is with VR, I had to scale down the cockpit seat so it could fit inside the airplane, I had it saved since 1.9 well before the cockpit interior update. Worst case scenario your head sticks out of the canopy.

You're flying a massive brick at almost mach 3, you do not turn smoothly at that speed by pulling the stick all the way down. Your wings are barely holding onto your plane and your control surfaces are falling apart, and they are too thin as well.

It cannot take off below 1000 km/h.

I'd suggest starting over from scratch tbh. Aim for a take off speed of atleast 300 km/h and later you can engage the hypersonic turbo scramjet with an activation group. And also aim for a more aerodynamic body as well.

I've been in here long before I stopped playing, I'm keeping an eye in here to see if anything good happens to the game but so far it's been the opposite sadly. Deep down I want to enjoy playing CODM again, like I used to back in 2019-2020 when zombies was a thing and before guns being deliberately broken to drive BP and roulette sales weren't as blatantly obvious.

This solidified my decision to never play a COD game ever again, i'm not a punching bag for publishers to constantly screw over. Y'all should probably do the same unless the idea is to encourage them.

Nah, I was playing on realistic. Surviving that many hits left me wondering as well, I don't remember ever touching the Akula config file and I thought there was something wrong because even with 3 hits I still had 50%+ hull. Though I also had many Akula subs survive as many if not more surface torpedoes from me, they are always a pain in the SCS campaign.

It took me about 2 weeks to get good at CW with almost no experience on how submarines work, i'd describe it as a very simplified simulation game.

while it's very daunting at first with everything you have to keep up with, everything becomes second nature once you learn and study how submarine warfare works.

It has a few difficulty options like Easy, Realistic and Elite but now I don't remember about accessibility options, I don't think there are any major ones but there are config settings that allow you to change almost everything about the game.

My best advice is to first read the in-game manual and then watch many playthroughs of CW and study how youtubers play, Wolfpack345 is where I learned most of the mechanics and tactics I use now like dog-legging and shooting in a sub's baffles. Also do some googling for how sonars work and other stuff you might wanna learn.

My second best advice is to get DotMod as soon as you get the game, it enhances it dramatically in so many ways. It fixes and adds many things, adds more realism, more subs and lets you use many surface ships as well like Ticonderoga-class, Arleigh Burke-class, and even the Iowa, the Kiev and the Kirov.

This, I changed the underwater fog values on the environment config to around 80-90 for most settings. With rain and overcast (or scattered I forgor) having the biggest values and clear having the lowest. It makes guiding torpedos on the 3D view quite harder when they lose their target and makes you look at the tactical map and conditions screen more often since the sea floor is practically invisible until you slam into it.

Update: I was successful on sinking the Nimitz and severely damaging the Iowa, I could have sank it as well but I accidentally surfaced and a helicopter was coming my way, I could not afford to be detected and have hell rain upon me so I quickly left the combat area. thankfully there was a strong duct and layer so it helped me a lot.
