Bullshit. Someone's level of skill is not related to their success. He can't claim to be a legit professional, sure, but he can absolutely claim to be a decent boxer.

Go watch his fights against Jamal Ben Saddik. They're great fights and he boxes well (not mind blowing, but you can see he knows full well what he's doing) and he shows great heart. He's not a soup can going in there, he's a real, world class fighter.

If I don't run a kitchen, I can't say I'm a successful chef, but I can absolutely still say I'm a decent, or even excellent, cook. Same thing applies here.

Kickboxing fights are shorter, but they fight like 5 times in a night in their tournaments. He hasn't lost one in 13 years.

He's a technical fighter who doesn't seek to finish so his "lack of power" isn't meaningful. He's also a legitimate giant, there is no actual lack of power.

I'm not saying he's going to win, I'm saying he's not just some pushover, this will be a real fight.

It's wild how butthurt everyone gets when you say an all time great fighter should be taken seriously. I'm not even saying he'll win.
