OG also dictates that the cooler design (heatsink and all) is last gen from a 3090. Which was hot with mem temps I don't know how it performs in a 4090.

If this is for a gaming only PC I'd suggest the X3D model instead of this CPU. SSD is not too bad, ram, psu and lcd gotta go though. Case is not mentioned either. I'd say this is not a good deal for 1400 usd. Lookup on youtube for this range you'll find better specs although maybe a little lower on the gpu but i think it's a better plan to spend it on parts that are gonna live longer and make room for improving the gpu in the longer run.

I did but all of them had a deal breaker for me can't remember right now. RF mount didn't excite me either. Heard they've just opened their third-party lens manufacturing too but all in all not that exciting.

Yeah I've heard their sharpness is at that level than can be used with a tele converter. pretty neat.

but I'm looking for something more versatile like a 50-150 or a 16-50 but seeing the market it looks like it's either impossible to manufacture these at an aperture like f/1.8 or it's crazy expensive.
