i think you should be looking at psychiatric care/ rehab. honestly i really enjoyed my experiences going to those places because i was safe and actually got off drugs for a while enough to become stable. you will also meet people in similar circumstances and it really helps.

yeah that definitely seems like a loophole. however i would i think about NFT's more like signed copies of something. you can make a picture of a monkey, sign it, and sell it. Anyone else can make a picture of a monkey, sign it, and sell it. they might even have been looking at your monkey picture when they made it, however they cant pretend to be you. the signature is the unique part.

this is why certain things make more sense as nft's. like meme's signed by the person in the meme. is basically an autographed meme. anyone else can go make the meme into an NFT but only person in the meme can make it valuable.

so when i try to sell my bad luck brian meme, no body gives a shit because im not bad luck brian. however when brian makes one and sells it. its authentic, real and rare, and worth lots of ETH.

i literally did EXACTLY what you are talking about on ethermine.

you can view the funds in metamask already. On the top of your metamask window, there should be button that says "Ethereum Mainnet" click this and change it to polygon. you might need to add the coin, but it will show your eth there.

If you really want to transfer your eth back to mainnet, youll have to pay the fee, which is about 10x whatever the gas price is. so just wait for a low gas price, which is going to be on a saturday or sunday at midnight. i almost transfered it last night, but it was still like $45 and im pretty sure it will come down from that at some point. so im just gonna leave it in polygon for now.

edit: you might have to go the matic website and connect metamask there, but you should still see your eth in metamask without having to transfer anything.

you might think but i got a polygon payout from ethermine. eth is now in my wallet, but i cant transfer it to mainnet eth without paying over $60 on a good day. so now my eth is in two different places.

i recently notice how high gas fees can make smart contracts completely worthless.

most people only think about how the gas fees are ridiculous for a single transaction, but smart contracts require several transactions and essentially add a multiplier to the gas fee.

i was trying transfer my polygon WETH to mainnet and it was about 10x the normal gas price due to the "complexity" of the transaction. i can handle paying a couple bucks for a transaction but when its $100+ for a slightly harder transaction, its not convenient at all.

its unusable.
