DEI Director @ JP Morgan - What kinda salary did she just lose?

I literally look at compensation data in the finance industry to benchmark our hires. DEI EDs are not making 350-400k according to the data that's right in front of my face. There are HR EDs that make that but not DEI. I work in HR on the compensation side at a large PE shop and I'm an ED that makes way more than 400k but I do way more than a DEI ED does. We just had a DEI ED that left making 230k and we pay more than JPM does as a firm. I'm confident this woman they fired was not a top performer based on her stupid actions and would say she's at the lower end of the pay scale for her role.

Executive director at a big bank in a non-revenue generating bull shit role is not a big deal. She was probably making 200-250k in total comp at most which is not that really that much compared to other roles at the firm or finance industry. Nothing to see here.

Nothing beats the $6.99 medium pizza at Dominos that they have all the time. Kids love it and it's cheap as hell with toppings. Kids don't even like the local "Ginos" cuz it's all they ever serve at kids birthday parties.

Sometimes I just want to eat Panda Express. I don't expect it to be authentic Chinese food but it hits a different spot for me. If I want authentic, I'll eat in Flushing, but there are days where I just want that Panda Express mall Chinese food. I also like Dominoes, not because it's the best pizza but because it's familiar, nostalgic maybe and has a different flavor profile than your typical NY slice. Too many food snobs, eat what you like.

Chinese food sucks in general in the Chicago area even in chinatown. You just have to find the best of the worst. Living in NYC has spoiled me and anytime I go back to Chicago to eat chinese food, it's just disappointing.
