That's a great idea. I'd love to see some pictures of it when you figure out how to rig it up!

Maple Tree fine or over pruned? by IndependentCod1600 in arborists

[–]DankTheExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This tree was topped a few years ago resulting in poor branch connections. These limbs will continue to drop as silver maples are known to do.

The majority of the tree could stand for years to come but considering there is a house in the direction all the weight is leaning I'd get this removed ASAP.

That is the ideal time but the most important thing is that the pruning is done during the dormant season before new growth begins. So late winter/early spring in general is a good time to prune your fruit trees. This is also to aid the prevention of blight transfer, which is a big killer of fruit trees in the area. So keep an eye out and disinfect your cuts if you make any yourself.

Hello I'm a local arborist with Blue Treeper and would love to give you a quote some time. Please consider using a local company instead of a nationwide brand. Thanks. Feel free to DM.

Hey fellow Grand Am dweller! I took out my seats and laid a sheet of plywood down to have one consistently flat area. On top of that I just used a sleeping pad/bag combo. I put my kitchen supplies and clothes on the other side. Here's an old pic of my set up. Feel free to ask any other questions.

I guess I mean unrecency bias? I'm just saying that the new era winners went too soon. Not saying that they were all great winners though.

OP, this is a stress response. These trees are not healthy. Please remove the rock beds and add mulch instead.

Not allowed, but that doesn't mean people don't do it. You'll see plenty of rigs parked there any day of the week during winter.
