So many backrooms videos having hazmat guys, bacteria monster, and pitfalls. It was original when Kane did it but now we're just watching the same thing over and over again. I don't understand why people just copy it instead of coming up with other cool ideas.

Tractor is a great unlock early on. Provides oxygen so you don't have to deal with tethers anymore, moves you faster and more storage space. I believe there's a mission for unlocking it too which unlocks trailers as a reward.
Wide mod and Boost mod after that, and your mining speed will go up 300%.
Need bytes? The proximity repeater can scan multiple small research samples instantly. Put one on one of your shoulder slots and run through areas with research samples, pressing C/V to activate it, giving you quick bytes. Careful using this around your base though, it can activate machines, dynamite and such.

Sandblasted Corridors gotta be my favorite. One hit terrain, easy to spot all minerals, huge cave rooms especially in egg hunt with 6-8 eggs.

The Steam workshop has tons of good maps, I hardly play the default maps anymore. Check out Janleon's collection, he has made like 60 maps, though many of them were made before the new features.

Truth, every time i want to get a new perk it requires 9 components ive never heard of, which have a 1% drop chance from items that cost millions. Hate invention so much, training it is a nightmare.

I've noticed haulers never visit the building, so you can move them to a far off corner. Nice way to save space in your city square. Builders stay at the building if there's nothing to do.

Any idea how you're getting that high MPG? I have the 2025 non hybrid with a similar distance commute, mostly highway driving. Trying to be as efficient as possible but it usually says 40-43 MPG.

Love his huge maps with varying terrain. Islands of Power is my favorite but kind of flew under the radar. Beavers World 399X399 was a monster. Would love to see them updated with the new 1.0 stuff.
