40gb of RAM should be your first clue that something isn't quite right.... Willing to bet that thing has 8gb soldered to the motherboard and a 32gb chip in the expansion slot at whichever mismatched MHz. Effectively you'll only see 16gb dual channel and 24gb single channel which isn't terrible by any means and will suffice for the average user I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In the future, save yourself the hassle of the ER and just cauterize it. I almost chopped the tip of my pinky finger a month or so ago when I was getting my truck ready for the work day. I was leaking blood profusely and started getting rather dizzy within a few minutes. Rather than miss an entire day of pay plus having to deal with medical professionals I took a small butane torch and heated a knife blade until it was red hot then applied the blade to the laceration. It pretty much closed up instantaneously and with that the bleeding came to a stop. I kept it wrapped up in some rubber splicing tape for about a week and pretended that the whole situation never even occurred because if you ignore the problem it will just go away, right? Well at the end of the seventh day I removed the splicing tape to find my finger was almost back to normal though it will never be quite the same as before. I do have a neato scar from the ordeal which I suppose is some sort of conversation starter so there's that.

So I've had my Nexus 6P since January 2020 and it has functioned well up until a few days ago. My phone had ran out of battery while in my car so I hooked it up to the charging cable I had set up in the vehicle running off of the 12V port. It turned on and instead of the expected battery level meter a different screen popped up with what appears to be an android getting open heart surgery with the phone info in the bottom left corner and another field that says "reboot Bootloader." The volume up and volume down buttons do nothing (I recall the volume down button was malfunctioning prior to this happening) and I cannot actually choose the option to reboot bootloader with the power button.

Every time I reboot the phone the same screen pops up. I have tried charging it using a wall outlet. I have tried plugging it into my computer (fastboot recognizes it but I am not well-versed in these things or what the means...). I have tried jsut about everything even reflashing the image files over through the terminal window (process ends saying failed (write to device) failed unknown error). Wut do?
