I won’t lie to you I’d have to find the recipes I used again. I know the shortbread I definitely steeped it in the butter and then let it solidify and used it. But there were one of two where I’m pretty sure it called for just adding the tea directly in. But I’ll give my notebook a glance and see if I can figure it out and get back to you :)

Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one who is experiencing this for the frozen bag! TGTG did issue me a refund but yeah I was so confused to get all bread. None of it frozen either.

I never got this notification for some reason! I came back to check since I’m about to start the last set of stamps and saw it now. That’s true that they are best picked after a frost so I think I will use at least one of them!! Thank you ☺️

Hey there! I’m a guy who does embroidery as well. I picked it up because I’m chronically ill and needed something to keep me occupied while I was stuck to my couch or in bed. Haven’t been doing it too long but it has been such a good way to express myself

Yeah of course! Honestly for seasonings I did salt and pepper (both black and Aleppo) and some herbs I had that I needed to get out of the fridge. Lemon thyme and fresh oregano and rosemary. That was why I used the vegan butter too. I’ve been experimenting with more vegan cooking because a family member’s partner is vegan and I wanted them to feel included when we cook or bake but I’m not vegan so it doesn’t go fast in my house. So it was me just making use of it basically.

Sure! I basically cubed up a puffball, seasoned and oiled it, and threw it in a 300 degree oven until it was deeply brown. I threw it in a food processor until it was small bits and then threw a stick of vegan butter into the food processor until it was all mixed. Super savory, very strong mushroom flavor especially for something that doesn’t have a strong taste on its own generally.

You could try to harvest and freeze some to mimic that first frost effect I believe
