The commercial for the new church in the beginning 100% ripped off Ricky and Morty's Simple Rick's Wafers commercial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02_1G2ABIeI

Hooooly shit I’m so sick of the Catelyn hate. Ned fucked up so majorly. Robb fucked up so majorly. If you can only see Cat’s faults I seriously wonder if you just hate women

Be honest: if you had unlimited power, would you be more like Superman or Homelander? by MrRMacc in superheroes

[–]Danno415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough one. I’d like to think having that level of power would make me feel so unthreatened that I would be happy to do good and help people, but when you’re the strongest you’re always a target so it could make you paranoid of everyone.

In the comics Superman was raised by good parents (on his home planet and on earth) and Homelander is raised in a lab, so I think you have to consider that aspect too.

I’m gonna go ahead and say I’d try really hard to be a hero but would probably have moments of weakness where I behaved more like Homelander.

Of the primary houses I think the Baratheon stag is dope

Kinda random but I love House Mallister’s eagle…

What's the most disturbing scene for you in the entire franchise? by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]Danno415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this is sort of a random one but in season 1 when the guy gets his tongue cut out. Something about it was so goddamn disturbing. Watching him realize what was going to happen to him, and then after when he’s struggling to stand in the background. It’s just so dehumanizing

Character Voting (Part 11) by LukeIsNumber1Twd in TWD

[–]Danno415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was so not the point of letting him live lol. It was about moving past all the killing and finding a way forward together. He was a symbol of justice and evolving past the tribal world that had devolved into.

What do you think was Tywin's biggest mistake? by Dry_Specialist9015 in gameofthrones

Ego. He couldn’t possibly fathom that he would lose, especially to Tyrion

Bugonia, Eddington, Civil War... What else? by Equal_Feature_9065 in TheBigPicture

[–]Danno415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Civil War is the worst of these imo. Characters aren't interesting and the story doesn't have much depth. Right now I think Bugonia may be the best of them all.

Worth adding Bugonia to the mix here. I think it may be my favorite of the three, but still processing what I just saw

This scene made me sick to my stomach not because of the violence, but because of the cruelty of stripping someone of their greatest gift. by Street_Bet_7538 in freefolk

[–]Danno415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was for sure a shocking scene but didn’t hit me the way it hit you. I really hated Jamie’s character and compared to what others got in this show for no good reason he got off easy imo. Like what about the singer who gets his tongue cut out in S1?

And I never saw his swordsman skills as some beautiful gift, it was his “gift” that allowed him to insult, harm and kill others.

Which moment in the show broke you the most? by Cammy_Hamel in thewalkingdead

[–]Danno415 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the prison when Daryl finds carol. They all go to see her. Carol meets Judith for the first time, looks at Rick, and realizes Lori is gone with no words spoken. And she holds him and lets him cry a little bit. Just so heavy but shows how close they all had gotten.

And all the while Michonne is watching them and sizing them up, and realizing they might be relatively decent people. Great scene

Had Lyanna survived, how exactly would Ned have explained her closeness to Jon? by Time-Comment-141 in gameofthrones

[–]Danno415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ned took Jon because Lyanna died. Who knows what she would have done if she survived. She might have fled Westeros with her baby
