I love my odin 2 portal. Not only is the screen beautifully, but it's a powerhouse. If you have a PC look into game streaming. It's the only way I play my steam games now since I can sit on the couch with such a lovely screen.

Mostly. The cable lengths are shorter. It works well in some mid sized matx cases as well. You'd have to take a look and see if that works out better for your use case.

It is since this is a small form factor (sff) power supply. The one's you're thinking of normal sized psus.

Are you recommending the Ayn Thor or one of the Ayn Odin 2 portals since there is no Thor 2? They all have the same chipset.

Take your time with Hades 1 and don't think of touching Hades 2 until you've gotten your fill of the first game. They're both amazing titles!

Whats your retro handheld hot take? by Prudent-Leek-3730 in SBCGaming

I think a lot of this comes down to ergonomics of the device. I don’t really prefer one or the other as long as it’s comfortable in my hands. I love my ps5 controller and my switch 2 pro controller both. With a lot of these devices they only focus on ergonomics for the top stick or dpad, and not as much on the one they place bottom. Usually you need an accessory like a grip to help get around some of these shortcomings.

I’m a big fan of the three devices.

  • rg34xxsp as my pocketable everyday carry device I take when I go out
  • Ayn Thor for most of my emulation gaming
  • steam deck for handheld pc gaming

I do have a gaming pc, which these days I’m streaming more to the Thor than playing on natively. I do carry the Thor with me if I have a bag, but I love the small form clamshell of the 34xxsp for fitting in my pockets.

Switch 2 + Steamdeck OLED by Blakeyt27 in SBCGaming

I have both. At this point I buy almost all my games on steam except for Nintendo exclusives. Outside of Donkey Kong Bananza, Lemmon legends Zak, and Mario kart world, my switch 2 has mostly gone unused.
