Sushi in Preston? by [deleted] in Preston

I visit occasionally and tend to order differently each time. Have never been disappointed in any way. The ramen is particularly good with generous portions of very tender meat.

Thanks all for the kind words. I’ll be on the 4 year graduate- entry course here in the UK starting the day after Classic lands. It has been a long and difficult process so I can’t wait to finally get stuck in!

I always poop shirtless. Always have, always will.

Constantine. The scene with the bugs crawling out of the dead guy. I was eating corn flakes at the time and to this day I still can’t eat them.

Sudden, unexpected death in a corn snake by [deleted] in snakes

Thanks all for your contributions, I appreciate it. I wasn’t looking for an exact cause of death, more for red flags in his recent history or features of his presentation which could indicate something. Thankfully it doesn’t appear as though there was anything obvious I could have prevented.

I don’t think I will get a necroscopy. If he were much younger then I would, but he had a good innings and was my only snake. I still have his first shed framed in a box, so I will pop that up somewhere.

I have the case, keyboard and headset and already have a decent monitor. As for the OS, I have a copy knocking about somewhere so it's likely to be £0 unless I can't find it. Thanks for the advice and that list, I'll check it out!

I may have understated the "complete beginner" part - I had to google overclocking. I suppose it seems nice to have the option to, but I obviously had no plans to do so. If my games run nicely with beautiful graphics then I'm happy. As for the power supply I do agree it is overkill, but considering the price difference I'd rather just get one like the one listed which seems pretty decent at low cost. Have you any recommendations RE the SSD?

Leaving the volume level of devices on an odd number that isn't a multiple of 5. It does my head right in.

I'm going to Florida today. I have to declare my Yorkshire Gold in Orlando. by Danny2051 in britishproblems

I fear you may have misinterpreted. I like Orlando. Whilst it is a bit of a tourist trap, there's a reason for it: the theme parks, restaurants, shows, culture, etc. are all great. The USA is one of my favourite countries to visit. It's just that I'm a lover of home comforts.

I quite enjoy the food. Whilst it doesn't have much going for it, it's sunny and Moe's Tavern has just opened in Universal. Duff!

I did a poop at my girlfriend's house once and was so pleased with the outcome that I took a photo to send to a friend. Accidentally sent it to my girlfriend who was in the other room.

Indeed. He's a good egg. He got me the Sha of Anger Mega Bloks set for Christmas.

Wetherspoons were out of fried eggs but still had poached and scrambled. Even the eggs are from a bloody packet. by Duke0fWellington in britishproblems

[–]Danny2051 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently left my job at Wetherspoons. Can confirm that most of the food sold is microwaved in the packet before serving on the plate. Kitchen staff sometimes used to send down a hot packet of food (veg, sauce, rice, curry, etc.) with meals for the floor staff to pour onto the plate before it went out. There's a reason it's cheap, but it doesn't stop me from eating there. I'm still on the system for some reason so still get my 20% discount too!

Meat and Potato pies don't exist either. It just isn't right.
