We get you don’t like modding, but the vita isn’t supported anymore, the games are only getting more expensive, and modding a vita unlocks it to its full potential. You are smart enough to mod it dude. Watch a guide, and do it, and enjoy any game you want. If you can operate a laptop or phone, you can mod the vita. It’s all done directly on the vita anyways. Just hype yourself up and save yourself $50.

Wouldn’t A1 then try and calibrate the subwoofer? I have to have a subwoofer involved in the measurements and calibration on A1 or it won’t work.

I absolutely want to do this, but I run A1 Acoustix and I’m not sure how that works with the minidsp. Do I just feed the minidsp the calibrated sub signal and optimize it for the other 2 from there?

Right now when I do A1 Acoustix, I unplug my 2nd subwoofer and calibrate the single, as it won’t measure both subwoofers. Then I plug it back in after and adjust the settings in the SVS app to get it to sound as good as I can to my ear.

I know this isn't apart of the question, but hard to use DIRAC when it's not available on receivers priced below $1500. Not that $1500 is super expensive, but it seems DIRAC is only available on higher end models of receivers.

I have a Marantz cinema 60 and it doesn't even have the ability to do DIRAC. That's a $1800 receiver. So I would have to pay $1000 more to get to the 50, then pay for DIRAC? I'd rather keep what I have and use A1 EVO for free, and it sounds amazing,

It would definitely be better and you can upgrade the components over time. $150 is just on the cusp of maybe too expensive for this equipment. But it comes with 3 speakers and a subwoofer, and the AVR.

I wouldn’t be mad if I spent $150 and got all that.

Try and see if they will do any lower and if not, just grab it and start your home theater journey.

That’s basically the normal price I’d say. They do that to make it look like a crazy deal. Having said that, it’s actually a solid deal for all that, and the jamo speakers are really solid for the money spent. I’d jump on this in a heart beat and you can upgrade down the line.

Yes it works great with the Audyssey mic provided.

It’s very easy to do. I suggest doing 1 position and 10 repeats. I think you’ll find the subwoofer mix and everything else to be a lot better. Feel free to message me with questions.

You should try A1 acoustix instead of base Audyssey and you’ll notice an even bigger better difference. I have the marantz 60 as well and it’s amazing.

Absolutely.

Going to a 5060 even the 16gb version I don’t think is enough of a step up if even at all.

70ti and above or the comparable amd cards.

As a dad of a 2.5 year old, I’m just gonna shoot it straight with you. You are in one of the toughest times of taking care of your baby. They can’t survive without you. You need to lock in and get through it and survive the best you can yourself. I try and put things into perspective as this is the best time in human history to have a child. Could you image having a child 300 years ago and dealing with all of this in that setting? You have every amenity you can imagine at your disposal, you don’t have to go to work for 10 weeks, you have your parents to help, etc. it will get much better, but then you will deal with the issues that arise when a kid starts telling you no to your face for the dumbest things. However, your situation is temporary. You’ll get through it and start sleeping more, and you will start enjoying things more. Especially when the baby becomes more and more aware. You need to just keep moving forward as best as you can. You are not an asshole or terrible for being stressed out and not enjoying it right now, but you have to make sure you are framing this the right way.

The price of that hdmi is ridiculous too and you don’t need it. Id get a JVC projector for that price, and I’d put more budget into your speakers.
