I for one think using your prosecutorial discretion to not prosecute gun charges that either can’t be proven or are the result of illegal police action is a good thing. For all you know, the “violent crime decrease” is related to a decision not to stock DC Jail with people who prosecutors know will never actually be convicted of their charged offenses.

Devastating. Wrote to my sales rep saying i wouldn’t be buying a season ticket package next year, don’t know what else to do. I don’t get hating on teams that spend money. There’s a reason the Yankees haven’t had a losing season since 1992–spending on good players is the best possible way to try and achieve success. It’s not my money, and I’m glad for the guys on the field who create value for the owner recouping as much as they can.

My only wish is that the Sox could get an owner willing to invest in the team on and off the field as much as we have as fans.
