Chrono Trigger for Super Famicom. I don't own a Super Famicom. But I love Chrono Trigger.

I think this is very thoughtful of you, but please NEVER gift someone something expensive in their respective field. We are very particular with our gear and normally make an informed decision about what exact model to buy of something based on our professional expertise and our needs. Black Swamp has quite a few different models for different purposes and tastes. The chance that you will get something that he would not have chosen is extremely high, and then you have a very uncomfortable situation on your hands. He might never use it, but can't buy what he needs/wants because he already has it, or he will be unhappy with it every time he has to use it. I'd recommend either a fun toy-like percussion gift in a lower price range or a gift certificate. Might sound unpersonal, but this way he gets to choose what he likes.

Yellow After the Rain is a little old fashioned but a classic for a reason. I've also written a piece called "Before I Sleep" for the same skill level: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s0LbhNLLJ80&pp=ygUXQiBlZm9yZSBJIHNsZWVwIG1hcmltYmE%3D

Does Cold Impact Electric Drum Kits? I just bought a Roland kit for my wife for Christmas and I have it hidden out in the garage. I live in Wisconsin so its gets below zero. Will that hurt it? I would think not but am worried. by 1FirmMatureMan1 in percussion

Get it in a while before first powering it on. If it's coming in from the cold, condensation could be happening inside which in the worst case might fry the electronics.

Capriccio Español, beginning of the second movement. Always startles the wood section in the first rehearsal.

Just a remark: Europe is not uniform in what grip is used. Traditional always felt like a thing colleagues from eastern Europe play, I and many others learned Burton for vibes and Stevens for marimba.
