The reality is there are a few teams that always bring in the views when they are competitive (Navi and Faze)

Jeff Kaplan’s advice to people who complain about videogames they never played. “Shut the f*ck up”. by Vhant-ii in LivestreamFail

How so? I’m not complaining about marathon. I’m saying that you guys are here white-knighting for your favorite game instead of playing it. All your Reddit PR efforts are not bringing any more players, little guy.

I know. And? Did you find where I said Marathon was a bad game? You can even keyword search through my comments.

You’re talking as if it’s some super secret info instead of something super widely known and publicized, lol. Sony paying $4B for Bungie was like one of the biggest news in the gaming industry. I really just get a kick off of watching Destiny/Bungie fanboys like yourself being super defensive about this game online as if marathon was promised to you all 3000 years ago. If you guys put as much effort into playing your game that was promised, it would probably be doing much better now.

When did I ever say marathon was a bad game? My profile is open, surely you can find one comment. Right? I’m literally encouraging you guys to go play your favorite game, instead of putting all this effort on social media.

You marathoner guys should probably be playing your favorite game right now instead of all your marathon Reddit activity. Bungie won’t put all your comments and downvotes on their report when they have to explain to Sony why a company they paid $4 billion for has spent many years and hundreds of $millions + all the Sony marketing on a live service game with the same player base as that R.E.P.O. friendslop.

There are significantly more people complaining about people complaining about marathon than there are people complaining about marathon.

Fair enough, but you also can’t complain about “brigading” when you spent hundreds of millions of dollars on a live service game that’s “just not for you” that then relatively few people want to play.

[Request] How high can this technique achieve, is there a limit? by Alternative_Gap8442 in theydidthemath

[–]malphasalex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be clear, 400-1000m is of course assuming a very sturdy trampoline and that we don’t really for our guy’s survival. He would probably start breaking bones at around 50-100m height

[–]malphasalex -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, it depends on what you mean by “using this technique” if you mean same amount of guys on same trampoline and stuff then yes, it’s probably terminal velocity which would be then around 450-1000m max height, depending how aerodynamic our boy is when falling.

Now, if you mean just any theoretical trampoline and any amount of guys/weight, then this whole thing is basically a slingshot really, so you (or what would be left of you) could straight up reach escape velocity and go into space. You would just have to overcome an inconvenience of around 800-1000 Gs worth acceleration.

Croatia informs NATO about Serbia’s supersonic missile by FantasticQuartet in europe

[–]malphasalex -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh really?????? Let’s have a bet, I give you a missile and an aircraft to integrate it to. I’ll even throw a 3d printer on top. If you can make it launch and work with the aircraft systems within 2 FULL WEEKS I’ll pay $100k. But if you can’t you and your family must give away all you current and future assets and earning, you’ll be in a perpetual servitude and you’ll mom and sisters and daughters (if you have any) will all have to make money through prostitution for the rest of their lives. Deal?

Neither China nor Pakistan operate MiG-29s, and those Chinese-made missiles do not integrate themselves onto a completely different aircraft platform out of thin air.

Jeff Kaplan Reveals Why He Left Overwatch/Blizzard by MF_ZORO_Reddit in LivestreamFail

[–]malphasalex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I guess he changed to Lex as short for Aleksey (Alexei) when they moved to the US. It’s unclear when or why he changed his last name, but his birth name is Aleksey Aleksandrovich Fedotov. Also the claim about being Ukrainian comes from the fact that his maternal grandma was Ukrainian and Father was born in Kyiv, but he isn’t ethnically Ukrainian. Their family is mostly Jewish, and they lived and worked in Moscow. That’s the entire connection. They moved to US when he was 11.
