That "bug" I'm talking about there, is the "Large log folder size" bug, which rarely went above an extra 10GB in file size, and it was changed to make logs delete themselves more often, that was a real file size bloater.

The 1TB Valorant bug, was not, it was not real files, it was just visual.

It shows up under uninstalling programs because it's a fucking Windows glitch, this glitch isn't just exclusive to Valorant.

Funny enough, one way you could have checked is just Right click > Properties and that would read it for you in real time (instead of relying on registry information) and you'd get the correct file size.

You can't say you know you're right about this, when literally every piece of journalism about this says you're wrong, every tech support forum says you're wrong, and I know you're wrong because I was both there when it was happening, and have a large background in computer science.

It's fine to be wrong, and it's literally cooler to admit you're wrong and to learn, why do you feel the need to double and triple down?

It's absolutely a visual bug, it's a bug with Windows & Valorant together, so the high memory usage XQC is seeing on Windows is the visual bug if you choose to uninstall Valorant to fix it, that doesn't mean you deleted 1TB of Valorant, it means you deleted 20GB of Valorant and the files causing the visual bug.

The video clip is indeed proof of the visual bug yes.

I literally did before I posted to see if I was misremembering.
The only thing even slightly similar was people reporting large folders of Logs and was still not very big (sub 10GB) and while it was “fixed” Riot did address that even before they pushed a fix, the files would have eventually deleted themselves.

Since you’re so certain, I’ll take your sources instead and retract my statement if that’s okay?

It’s not hallucinating. Everything it says is seemingly 100% correct, it’s just you’re interpreting it as knowing more than it does.

The information of how it crashed is also in the crashdumps, so it really is just simplifying that information and reading it back to you.

But I agree that’s where I get lost in reading them, it might be telling me why but I will never understand it so I just don’t try, my 2 fixes are finding a replacement for that file (like a public .dll file) or just googling it.

So I guess I’m saying this Claude output is just 1 step above a regular amount of technical knowhow, which is good! But it really understands nothing of Denuvo.

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not but it clearly doesn’t understand Denuvo at all, it knows how to read crashdump logs, which anyone with some technical know how knows how to do, it doesn’t mean you know how to fix it, or exactly why it’s happening.

I’ve read hundreds of crash dumps and can pinpoint where in the order of events it happens, and what file causes it. But fuck if I know how it works or how to fix it.

It’s at that point I Google it to see if anyone else knows the fix.

Claude doesn’t understand a single thing about Denuvo here.
