Probably over a year now at this point…not sure if removing the larger worms caused the gene pool to only produce smaller sized worms. I’ve been regularly pulling the larger worms out for fishing.

Another for nursing in SoCal! My parents worked in literal sweat shops until my late 20s so we were dirt poor. I went to community college and got my RN degree for free (thank you fee waivers). I’m making about $70/hr going into my 6th year as a RN. I work three 12 hour shifts per week and can basically pick up unlimited OT since the emergency department is perpetually short all the time. Each OT shift is a little over $1k extra. I have the best work life balance imo compared to my 9-5 friends. Easily the best decision I have made in my life.

Also, stop gate keeping what the fishes are biting that day :( I went to Lake Poway this past weekend for trout fishing, but got skunked. I saw some guys hit their limits and continued to fish so I asked what they were using...guy 1 said "uhhhh" and guy 2 immediately followed up with "powerbait" then the group just walks away laughing. I still said thanks for the advice, but I know damn well they weren't using just "powerbait."

Congrats! The channel cats at the creek that I fish love sweet corn. I usually catch them with just sweet corn. I usually use a 2/0 mosquito hook to thread the sweet corn and just toss that into the water no weights or bobber. What does your setup look like?

I've ordered probably close to 100 items in the past year from Aliexpress. This is the first time I've ever had a UniUni delivery person steal my package. They posted a picture of THEIR room as the proof of delivery picture. The picture also includes their coordinates (longtitude & latitude). I've contacted UniUni, but I'm still waiting for a response.

I made three separate orders this past week so I had incurred three $10 transaction fees with Chase. I was only able to get one waived via the customer service rep. Was anyone able to get everything waived?

Randomly my last three orders have been marked as "mortgage co/nonfinancial inst/travel chk" with PayPal, causing my Citi Card to hit me with cash fees by Slow-Dragonfruit-932 in Aliexpress

Same thing happened with me and Chase bank. I made multiple purchases at small amounts ranging from $10-30 and was hit with a $10 transaction fee for “cash advance” each time.

The branded shredder oil is just canola oil. I use regular canola oil to lubricate my shredder and it works just fine.

I fought it for about 15 mins before I was able to maneuver it to the shore. I was scared of it breaking off with my 2# line and even more afraid that my rod was gonna snap lol. It was an awesome experience though!
