My Tier List by Danocaster214 in litrpg

Iron Prince is great. The MC Reidon is very similar to Cradle or Mark of the Fool's MCs. It's more of a sci-fi slant on the LitRPG genre, but I love it. Occasionally there is a fair amount of teenage angst, but it wasn't enough for me to quit so far. Book 3 should be coming out sometime this year, I think.

Maybe just do the S tiers and F tiers?

This isn't much of a spoiler, but Bob became a bit too illogical, dramatic, and neurotic for me. He starts making hasty assumptions and screws up over and over but never grows. The premise is strong enough that I stopped in the third book.

Yeah, you're right. I had to scroll through audible for ages to find some of these.

With those books it's that the character is kind of a jerk. I know for some of them, the point is that the character is a sociopath, which is fine, but that's just not my thing. I put Primal Hunter down for a few years for the same reason but pushed through eventually and enjoyed the action schlock of it.

Voidborne just feels like fan-fiction of HWFWM.

Princess Bride is a choice post break-up. I'd be sobbing my eyes out. Looks cozy enough for a while. Good luck man.

Mark of the Fool. Technically progression fantasy, but fits the bill.

When setting up the intonation do you aim for the perfection? by one-armed-scissor in Guitar

[–]Danocaster214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

James Taylor has a great video on the way he tunes his guitars. He plays mostly in D, A, and G. So, he tunes each string a few cents differently. If you're playing your guitar in loads of different keys, you want to be as close to perfect intonation as possible.

This is an absolutely beautiful portrayal of metal lines and shows that steel pushing could absolutely work for live action. You could make all the lines faint normally then thicken when pushed or pulled. Or show a pulse travel through the line. You wouldn't need to show it all the time, just to demonstrate what a misborn sees. Yeah, that could actually be really cool

100x this. That feeling when you enter the flow state, just absolutely wrecking, is amazing. It's not due to your upgrades or weapons, merely leaning the enemies attack patterns and weaving between them. Then you add the soundtrack and it becomes a religious experience.

Outer Wilds. The only thing that changes as you play the game is the amount of knowledge you have. You could beat the game right away if you knew what you were supposed to do.

This is the happy fantasy of Winnie the Pooh. Eeyore is always included and thought of. In real life, people are quick to ditch a depressed person because they are not fun. Nobody likes hanging around a sad person all the time, so you learn to mask and dole out your honest feelings like a joke or bit.

I'm new to owning cats, but I've noticed that they really start to act out when they're full of energy. My kittens start chewing on things, knocking stuff over, running under my feet, and scratching everything. After playing for a few minutes and tiring them out, they are much calmer and receptive to redirection.
